Originally from Leeds Karandeep attended Leeds Grammar School before studying at the University of Leicester, graduating in 2006 with BA Law & Economics. Initially his career started in Business Development in a Business to Consumer environment before being approached to join Mackenzie Stuart in 2007. Upon joining Mackenzie Stuart on the graduate scheme Karandeep made an immediate impact making several placements within the industrial sector before being promoted to a consultant in Oil & Gas in 2008.
Karandeep has specialised in the placement of experienced of Oil & Gas professionals within several sub sectors that he has carefully developed. Placements have included experienced individuals in engineering, commercial, business development, operational capacities up to board level.
Highly respected by both clients and colleagues Karandeep has consistently demonstrated the ability to build and maintain business relationships. He has built his reputation around his level of commitment, detailed understanding of the Oil & Gas sector and appreciation of client’s exact needs. Karandeep continues to source high calibre, experienced professionals meeting client requirements with a track record of adding long term value.
Alongside Karandeep’s commitments as a consultant he heads up the Oil & Gas division responsible for a team of consultants and researchers that operate across all disciplines within the sector. Karandeep is a driving force in the strategic development & growth of the division and is striving to achieve the goal of being an elitist, automatic choice when it comes to Oil & Gas recruitment.
Outside of work Karandeep is an avid golfer spending time on the course aiming to drag down his handicap. Alongside this he has a strong interest in cricket.
