Senior Project Manager
Location: Florida, USA
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 plus benefits

THE BUSINESS

Mackenzie Stuart is working with a leading Utility contractor which provide critical infrastructure to the Power Markets throughout North America. The company has gain a significant portfolio of Transmission & Substation projects and is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager.

THE ROLE
*Managing major Transmission & Substation projects valued at $10 – $100M
*Liaise with both clients and senior members of the company, delivering reports and projections on the progress of the works.
*Provide technical support for construction, including participation in construction planning
*Lead and inspire a team working under their direct command, ensuring the projects are delivered in a safe and operational environment.

THE PERSON
*Civil Engineering degree or equivalent level of field specific qualifications
*10 Years’ of relevant Power Construction experience.
*Strong leadership and presence is required to motivate and inspire those working around them
*Have the ability to lead, manage and train staff to be the best of their ability
*Management capability and a strong direct strategic mind-set
*Proven ability to deliver in a range of projects and environments in the water sector

This is a senior management position and the candidate must match the exacting requirements for the position.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

*Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship. Currently located in Houston or willing to relocate
*Educated with an Engineering or Business degree discipline
*10+ years sales experience within the Turbomachinery product line with specific experience within the aftermarket sales function

Mackenzie Stuart is currently working for an industry-leading contractor in the US. The company offer offering Pipeline Construction, Transmission, Distribution & Substation Construction. They are looking to appoint an Project Manager to work within their Transmission division.

The Role:
* Responsible for a multidisciplinary team and the delivery of a variety of Power Transmission Line projects across the region.
* Report to key parts of the business.
* Liaison with the client to make sure all key deliverables are outlined and executed to the highest quality.
* Ensuring all activities, health and safety and each phase of the projects are managed to the highest standard.
* Working alongside the commercial team, you will develop financial controls, completing reports for each project.

Key Experience:
* Qualified to a minimum of degree level in a related process and or engineering qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building transmission lines, ideally with experience working lines up to 345KV.

THE COMPANY
Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of a global leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services company that specialise in the Water & Wastewater sector. This globally recognised and respected company is looking to appoint a high level Construction Manager to lead large scale Wastewater Treatment projects.

THE ROLE
Primary responsibilities of the position include oversight of wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
Day-today Construction management, contract administration, field operations, field problem resolution, coordination/ conducting meetings with contractors, clients, and staff.
Quality Assurance.
Change Management.
Providing expert advice to clients.

THE PERSON
At least 20 years of experience working in wastewater construction and construction management industry.
Experience working on large scale, $100m +, EPC wastewater projects.
Must hold a PEng qualification.
Background must include experience in general contracting and/or engineering and construction management. Specifically, the applicant must possess knowledge and experience in managing complex construction projects including the construction of wastewater facilities
A strong knowledge and experience of safe work practices is required.
Successful candidates will have strong teamwork, organization, problem solving, and communication skills.
