Mackenzie Stuart is currently seeking a Corporate Account Manager to be located in Columbus, Ohio.

As a Senior Account Manager (SAM), you will develop and sustain long-term strategic customer relationships for mutual growth, profitability, trust, loyalty, and innovation. The SAM must leverage our enterprise resources and capabilities in creating value-based solutions to meet both the customer’s and company’s current and future requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve revenue and gross profit business goals for defined strategic accounts
  • Create and execute an account growth strategy aligned with global marketing through efficient utilization of company resources
  • Improve client satisfaction and loyalty by maintaining the company brand across corporate customer locations and documenting value delivery
  • Refresh products purchased by strategic customers with new technology offerings
  • Build network of relationships across entire client organization at high levels
  • Maintain a strong performance coaching culture for talent development
  • Execute an effective account profitability and pricing strategy while maximizing cash flow

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years selling to heavy manufacturing industries. Paper industry is ideal.
  • Demonstrated success at selling value propositions to high level decision makers
  • Confident delivery of boardroom presentations
  • Leading and unifying broad teams toward collaborative customer efforts
  • Creating innovative negotiation outcomes to enhance contract profitability
  • Navigating joint development agreements with customer R&D departments
  • Ability to travel 60-70%
  • Strong working knowledge of basic IT (MS Office and other utilization tools)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Mackenzie Stuart is currently seeking an Upstream Oil and Gas Business Developer to be located in Houston, Texas.

The Upstream Oil and Gas Business Developer is responsible for developing Water Technologies (VWT) sales of integrated water and produced water treatment projects with Upstream Oil & Gas customers located in the US. This position will report to the Industrial Projects VP of Sales & Marketing, responsible for the sales for VWT’s Industrial Projects group (IP), based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will interface closely with the Water (services) and VWT North American Business Units involved in the Upstream Oil & Gas market, to bring total solutions to the customer.

The Upstream Oil and Gas Business Developer will have direct responsibility to maintain and expand the relationships with the Strategic Accounts located in the US and will represent the entire range of company solutions and services while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met by IP, and VWT as a whole.

This position will be responsible for driving sales growth with the assigned Strategic Accounts as well as providing technical process expertise in the sales cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to)

  • Decide North America strategy and expectations (how to grow annual bookings).
  • Identify and capture new sources of revenue within assigned accounts.
  • Develop, implement and manage project plans in conjunction with the assigned customer accounts.

Managing Customer Relationships

  • Maintain strong relationships within client organizations at the decision-maker and end-user levels; present a consistent VWT image to those clients; build high levels of client satisfaction; execute proper client agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and act as communication conduit for the entire VWT organization into the assigned accounts.
  • Take a leadership role with the assigned Strategic Accounts and make sure the collaboration between the Strategic Accounts and the VWT BUs is working well.

Working with the BUs and water operations

  • Manage sales strategies and actions and customer relationships during tender phase.
  • Assess the best placed BU/technology, and/or orchestrate the team of BU’s to win a contract.
  • Support in negotiations.

Participate as Key member of VWT Oil and Gas team

  • Participate in customer seminars either during yearly market club or Exhibitions, Conferences and Events.
  • Investigate seminar participation or promotional events (working with Communications Department).

General Education and Experience

  • A minimum B.S. Degree in Engineering in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering or similar science
  • 10 or more years of experience in Capital Equipment Sales and Business Development in an Upstream Oil and Gas Environment with an engineering contractor or a major equipment provider.  Water treatment equipment sales experience highly preferred.
  • A diverse and broad sales back ground in Oil and Gas Facilities projects with a complete understanding of Oil and Gas projects/high value technical products.
