Mackenzie Stuart is currently recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Financial Controller who will report into the Country CFO for a leading Downstream Oil and Energy Business. The candidate needs to be of the highest calibre, demonstrating exceptional performance in addition to having the required technical skills.

The role is based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

This organisation is looking to consolidate its position as a leading national firm and the newly appointed Financial Controller will play a key part in assisting the company achieving its ambitious plans.

Specific Responsibilities for the Financial Controller:

*Responsible for monthly and annual financial reporting.
*Assist in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
*Play a key role in providing financial and analytical support to help shape thinking in projects.
*Oversee the preparation of the annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
*Provide information to all business segments on a daily/weekly basis.

As a Financial Controller your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

*ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
*Experience in the downstream market of Oil and Gas.
*Knowledge of crude economics, hedging and supply chain.
*’Big 4′ or leading industry competitor experience ideal.
*10+ year’s relevant progressive experience in accountancy.
*Highly numerate, with excellent analytical and business awareness skills.
*Competent in Navision/Microsoft Dynamics.
*Strong Excel skills are essential.
*Excellent organizational and time keeping skills

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a leading international organization specializing in the provision of maintenance, modification and asset integrity products and services to the Oil & Gas. Mining, Power and Chemicals industries.

The organization is seeking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager based in the UAE to lead and manage the sales activities across the Middle East region for the organisations Industrial Maintenance business in the Oil & Gas industry.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

*Educated with a Bachelors degree in Engineering or similarly related. A Master’s degree would be preferred but not essential.
*Must have a minimum of 10 year’s experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically within asset management and industrial maintenance.
*Will have extensive experience across the Middle East region, further exposure to North Africa and CIS region would be an advantage.
*Candidates must demonstrate strong sales and business development experience with solid technical knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance products and services.
*Must demonstrate a minimum of 4 years managerial experience in a sales leadership role with a successful track record of leading a regional sales team and managing multiple direct reports.
*Will have a strong network of contacts across the Middle East region including NOC’s and international organisations in the Oil & Gas sector.
*Will demonstrate excellent communication, team working and leadership skills.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

*Responsible for all sales and business development activities across the Middle East region for industrial maintenance services in the Oil & Gas sector.
*Develops and implements a regional sales strategy to ensure objectives and revenue targets are achieved through managing and developing relationships with new and existing clients.
*Creates opportunities to leverage the companies full portfolio of products and services through existing relationships and new business opportunities.
*Manages the sales budget and implements strategy to ensure that predefined sales targets are achieved and maximize regional sales revenue.
*Collects and analyses market information, trends and developments to ensure the company is aware of client needs and requirements.
*Leads and manages a team of 4 x direct reports from Country Sales Managers across multiple locations. Ensures that employees are developed and engaged to achieve individual objectives to contribute to the regional objectives.

THE COMPANY
Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of one of the leading contractors in the US. This globally recognised and respected company operates in a number of markets within the construction sector. The company is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to operate within their Power Transmission & Distribution Division.

THE ROLE
*The successful candidate will have a strong background operating and delivering large scale projects in the Power industry, preferably specific experience with transmission, substation, converter stations, distribution
*The candidate will be required to oversee and manage projects, whilst delivering these projects within given timescales and budgets, therefore experience in the successful delivery of projects is essential
*Lead and inspire a team working under their direct command, ensuring the projects are delivered in a safe and operational environment
* Liaise with both clients and senior members of the company, delivering reports and projections on the progress of the works

THE PERSON
* The successful candidate will have a very strong background working in the power market sector, specifically concentrating on power transmission and distribution.
* Civil Engineering degree or equivalent level of educational qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project delivery position.
* Have a presence required to lead, manage and train a number of on-site employees.
* Experience in working on frameworks contracts.
* Experience with the management of projects in an industrial environment
* Working knowledge of electrical utility systems, policies and procedures including engineering standards
* Experience working with a major electrical utility would be desirable

THE CLIENT:

THE ROLE:

The Project Manager duties consist of, but are not limited to, the acquisition of projects from to the successful commissioning of these projects.

Duties will include:
*Project delivery for a Global Solar PV Developer.
*Management and development of projects producing over 40MW.
*Full P&L Responsibility of +$30M+.
*Managing a headcount of over 80 with 4 direct reports.
*Working to the companies strict standards and meeting budgets, deadlines and targets
*Contract administration including liaison with head office and other external departments
*Ongoing liaison with contractors and providing a link between the field activities and the technical staff
*Ability to make sound engineering judgements within the scope of the contracts. These judgements shall be made with minimum supervision.
*Excellent communication skills are a must.

THE REQUIREMENTS:
*The position requires at least 10+ years’ Renewable Energy Experience.
*The candidate must have experience of excelling in the Solar PV Industry.

Our client is seeking a COO based in Bangkok, Thailand to lead and hold overall managerial responsibility for an operating unit of the organisation of which the main activity is the operation of a fully integrated Ethanol production plant in Thailand.

This senior leadership position will be accountable for the operations, quality, HSE and financial performance of the plant, with a direct reporting line into the CEO of the group holding company.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

*Located in Thailand or able and willing to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand.
*Educated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similarly related.
*Minimum of 15 years experience focused on process plants with extensive operations leadership experience.
*Have extensive technical knowledge and experience of process plants, preferably with experience in an Ethanol production plant environment however other experience will be considered.
*Previous regional experience in Asia would be considered an advantage, specifically South East Asia would be beneficial.
*Knowledge and understanding of the international business environment and able to manage key stakeholders.
*Must be proficient in English and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

*Overall leadership responsibility and accountability for the day to day operations, quality, HSE, financial performance and profitability of the Ethanol process plant.
*Ensure that the plant operates efficiently and has high productivity, implementing operational efficiency programs and initiatives to ensure optimum performance and minimum downtime.
*Responsible for reporting and reviewing operational and financial performance of the process plant with the CEO on a monthly basis.
*Coordinate and maintain relationships with local authorities and any other relevant parties on all matters that the company is involved.
*Demonstrate effective leadership and ensure that employees and contractors maintain company values and ethics.
*Managing a team of direct reports and overall responsibility for circa 200 employees within the plant. Trains and ensures the professional development of mid-level management and more junior employees.

THE BUSINESS

Mackenzie Stuart is currently working with a privately held construction and engineering contractor which serve leading companies in the Power, Communications and Gas Distribution markets in North America. They are seeking to appoint an Estimator – Transmission & Distribution to support the growth in the East Region Power Line of the business.

THE ROLE

*Review and incorporate data from past projects, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports.
*Review design specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required deliverables
*Prepare estimates by calculating the complete take-off of the scope of work.
*Follow awarded contracts – may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits; procurement of material etc.
*Facilitate contract handoff to PM / Operations. Includes job cost tracking set-up, development of revenue recognition units and productivity analysis reporting.
*Travel to various locations throughout the North East Region and mid-Atlantic for bid meetings, team estimate support, and bid reviews as necessary.

THE REQUIREMENTS

*5+ years’ experience estimating, cost control, supervisory, and/or engineering experience related to outside power line construction (T&D substation required).
*Knowledge of estimating techniques and ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems.
*Must have the ability to prepare proposals with minimal supervision.
*Good interpersonal skills required.
*Knowledge and ability to work with data base estimating software including Word, Excel.
*Bid-2-Win estimating software knowledge a plus.
*Travel required as needed for the job.
