Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of logistics operations, including road, air, ocean, and contract logistics within Europe.
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency across all service lines within the European market.
- Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations specific to the European region.
- Manage resources effectively to meet operational demands within Europe.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing operational team focused on European operations.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives tailored to the European market.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks for business continuity within Europe.
- Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders operating within the European region.
- Implement advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency specifically for European operations.
- Monitor and report on operational performance metrics within the European context.
Qualifications:
- 20+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within the logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of road, air, ocean, and contract logistics operations within the European region.
- Proven track record of driving results and continuous improvement within European logistics operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and German is a must.
- Ability to travel extensively within Europe.
- Reporting directly to the CEO.
