Job Description:
Position Overview: As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share within the Tennessee region. You will lead a team of sales professionals, manage key accounts, and develop strategies to expand our presence in the engineered wood building materials sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, business plans, and sales forecasts.
- Evaluate sales performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance the team’s effectiveness.
- Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to increase revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, builders, and contractors.
- Understand market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to drive product development and innovation.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s engineered wood products and their applications.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and deliver effective product presentations and training for the sales team.
- Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare and present sales reports, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market analysis.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive intelligence.
- Customer Focus:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships to maximize repeat business.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Promote safety practices and a culture of safety within the sales team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
