With a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join the team in Tennessee, USA.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share within the Tennessee region. You will lead a team of sales professionals, manage key accounts, and develop strategies to expand our presence in the engineered wood building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies, business plans, and sales forecasts.
    • Evaluate sales performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance the team’s effectiveness.
  2. Market Expansion:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to increase revenue and market share.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, builders, and contractors.
    • Understand market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to drive product development and innovation.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s engineered wood products and their applications.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and deliver effective product presentations and training for the sales team.
  4. Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Prepare and present sales reports, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market analysis.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive intelligence.
  5. Customer Focus:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships to maximize repeat business.
  6. Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
    • Promote safety practices and a culture of safety within the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
