Senior Sales Manager – Water Filtration Systems & Technologies
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

*Focused on the worldwide need for clean water they specialise in developing and marketing environmentally-friendly filtration solutions for industrial, municipal, and agricultural use.
*The company operates globally and has a multi £ million turnover

*This company are seeking a Sales Manager to join their already successful sales team.
*The position brings with it the responsibility of overseeing sales operations of the UK Office, as well as developing key account business throughout the UK and Ireland.
*The role will focus on selling filtration products and general water technologies into various markets
*You will work alongside the Sales team to drive sales in the area.
*The role will have a sales assistant as a direct report
*Extensive travel across the UK and Ireland is required
The position involves:
*Conduct commercial and technical actions with an existing target audience or not. His/her contacts will be engineers, technicians, technical managers, buyers and purchasing managers,
*Developing markets for industrial typologies (Water treatment, Oil & Gas, Chemistry, food, pharmaceuticals, …) and customer types (User, distributor, OEM, Engineering …)
*Acquire new accounts,
*Participate in marketing activities and corporate marketing,
*Provide efficient technical solutions, innovative and economically attractive.
*The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the Water sector, with the hunger and drive to succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role.
*The candidate must have extensive technical knowledge.
*A Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree is preferred
*Sound filtration background – Experience 3 to 5 years in a similar field of activity
*Must have a proven track record in the industry and be able to demonstrate commercial awareness in a developing market
*Knowledge with the segments of : steel, plastic, industry etc
*Good presentation skills
*High level of knowledge with filtration products and/or water treatment process
*The ability to multitask in a busy environment.
*Familiar with a business model that includes direct sales and accessing the market via distributors/ resellers/ partners
*Familiar with CRM systems / SAP (an advantage)
*Be able to support external PR/marketing partners with editorials etc
*Good people skills
*Have experience of developing key accounts and the ability to negotiate at all levels
*The candidate must be reliable, ambitious and trustworthy.
*Independent approach and team work ability,
*Autonomous and able to take initiatives
*Strong motivation, Work neat, conscientious and organized, Flexibility
