Territory Sales Manager – Building Materials (Glass) – Maryland, USA

We are currently partnered with a prominent player in the Building Materials industry, specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality glass products. With a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a skilled Territory Sales Manager to join the team and drive business growth in the Maryland and North Virginia region

Responsibilities:

  1. Territory Development:
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share and achieve sales targets within the Maryland territory.
    • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients.
  2. Product Promotion:
    • Showcase the unique features and benefits of our glass products to architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate the value proposition.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and support.
  4. Sales Performance:
    • Set, track, and achieve sales targets, providing regular updates on progress.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance overall revenue growth and market presence.
  5. Market Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
    • Provide feedback to the management team to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Travel:
    • Conduct regular visits to clients, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows to stay connected with the market.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales within the Building Materials industry, with a focus on glass products preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the construction and architecture sectors in Maryland.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
