Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with an international Oil & Gas Manufacturing company. The organisation is a leading organisation within its sector and has a renowned US and global presence.
As part of the company’s succession planning, the organisation is seeking to recruit a US Human Resources Manager – based in Houston – to lead the US HR function. This is a key position leading the strategy and HR operations functions and to be successful candidates must meet the exacting requirements.
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
*Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Currently located in Houston. The company cannot offer relocation.
*Educated with a University Degree discipline and hold a HR professional membership
*Minimum of 10 years’ Human Resources experience within the Oil & Gas industry
*5+ years HR management experience with previous experience leading a team of direct and indirect reports
*Experience leading employee relations, payroll, compensation & benefits and HR strategic initiatives on a national level within the HR function
*Strong HR generalist background with knowledge and understanding of the total HR function
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
*Manage the US Human Resources function for the Oil & Gas business unit
*Primarily responsible for leading employee relations, payroll & administration activities
*Work closely with senior leadership and regional offices to implement HR strategic initiatives across the US
*Provide leadership to the HR functions covering employee relations, payroll, administration and development
*Focus on developing organisational effectiveness and process improvement across the US HR set-up
*Reporting into Global Head of HR.
This is a key position within the organisation and will be a key member of the global human resources function.
