Meet Our Graduates

Justin Kandas

I completed my studies in International Business Management at Liverpool John Moore University, eager to apply the skills I acquired to kickstart my professional journey. Recruitment appeared to be a natural fit, aligning well with the communication & research abilities honed during my degree.

Mackenzie Stuart stood out as the perfect launchpad for my career aspirations. The company’s commitment to personal growth, championed by a dedicated team of consultants and managers, was evident from the outset. Despite common misconceptions, the recruitment industry is fundamentally about sales and business development.

From my initial interview, I knew it would be a great place to work as the team were outgoing and were clearly passionate about what they did. Hearing about the progression and incentives that many of the graduates made so quickly definitely appealed to me.

The training I received equipped me with the confidence to work independently, knowing that I had the support of my experienced manager whenever needed. The lively and open office environment fostered a positive atmosphere, providing continuous support and encouragement.

Although initially unfamiliar with the Water Chemicals market, I embraced the opportunity to explore and make it my own. I’m excited to see how I continue to grow & develop at Mackenzie Stuart – my ultimate goal is to take on more responsibilities, potentially leading and managing my own team in the near future.

I studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham, and was eager to utilise the skills I gained at University & start my professional career. Recruitment seemed like a good industry to explore as many of the skills I had developed throughout university were transferrable, such as communication, time management and research skills. After exploring several companies, Mackenzie Stuart stood out to me due to the investment they put into their graduates – they only promote internally meaning that the opportunities for growth & progression are endless! I was also attracted by earning potential at Mackenzie Stuart & the social incentives offered.

The training programme provides you with the resources to succeed & become an expert in your market sector – I quickly saw how to utilise these skills to get results, which was really rewarding. I have already enjoyed many of the incentives that Mackenzie Stuart offer – from a trip to Dublin, to an amazing Christmas party & the many end of period socials! It is great to be recognised for your hard work & makes Mackenzie Stuart such a rewarding place to work at. I’m excited to see how I continue to grow & develop at Mackenzie Stuart – continuing to develop my market sector & hopefully managing my own team soon!

Joe Worth

I joined Mackenzie Stuart as a graduate from Leeds University and was given the chance to build out a network of senior candidates and develop working relationships with industry leading organisations. I found success within the TIC market quickly from a combination of excellent senior management passing their wisdom on, hard work, grit and determination. Within a year I have built a vast network of industry leading executives and client connections which allows me to repetitively generate business across the globe.

Whilst the job requires resilience and determination it is made enjoyable due to the vibrant office culture and being surrounded by other likeminded individuals. Everyone in the office spurs each other on to overachieve within their specific markets. There are plenty of company incentives such as holidays, meals, vouchers and days off for overachieving the monthly target which results in positive environment and a winning mindset.

I wanted to get into recruitment as I was desperate to earn large sums of money after leaving university with debt, this industry offers the fastest progression and earnings within your first year, and beyond, after graduation. After interviewing at several recruitment firms, I was dead set on Mackenzie Stuart as their commission structure is the best on the market, their quarterly incentive for top billers are incredible, for instance the summer incentive is a company funded long weekend in Ibiza. This business provides a clear path of progression and is somewhere I can see myself having a long and successful career at.

Enya Innes

After finishing my degree in Biomedical Science, my focus was going down the Pharmacology route. However, after quick reflection on my future, I wanted a position and career that combined my scientific roots with a high earning potential in a people-centric environment.

The decision to transition into recruitment was not one made lightly but was made easy by the informative initial approach from the TA team at Mackenzie Stuart. From learning about the internal promotions, huge earning potential, fast-paced working environment and the monthly incentives; I knew that Mackenzie Stuart would be somewhere I could carve out my career path.

During my onboarding, I quickly realized that the workplace is both industrious and filled with individuals who share common goals. Every interaction provides an opportunity to connect determination with personal growth, bridging the gap between hard work and seizing personal opportunities.

My journey in recruitment has been filled with milestones due to global successful placements and the forging of lasting professional relationships. Quickly, I went from Consultant to Principal Consultant, which gave not only more autonomy in my day-to-day work but additional benefits, such as additional lucrative bonus schemes and working from home days.

From there, I decided that I was ready and wanted to go down the management route, to begin building out my own division and to become a Senior Member of the Management team. All of which was accomplished within a 3-year timeframe.

As Mackenzie Stuart grows, I will continue to be resilient, adaptable, and committed to the role so I can eventually run my own organisation within the group.

This career path allows me to play a strategic role in shaping the leadership teams of global organizations and making a meaningful impact on their long-term success.
