Mackenzie Stuart is proud to be representing a globally recognised Genomics company who are expanding rapidly across Europe and looking to recruit more Sales and Business Development professionals in a number of locations. Currently the focus is Germany, South particularly, but there are also openings across France, Netherlands and UK. This company specialises in a wide range of products including Reagents, Kits, Services and Resources for Gene Synthesis, Gene Editing, Protein Expression, Library Services, Plasmid Preparation and many more.

Job Description

  • Achieve Monthly / Yearly revenue and Profit targets
  • Contribute to the development of Sales Strategies
  • Report to Regional Sales Manager, work alongside Technical Managers
  • Report Market Trends / Customer feedback to Senior Management and Marketing
  • Promote the company name / product to peripheral markets ie Industrial, Academic, Government
  • Liaise with inside Technical Support Team
  • Build CRM for Future Expansion

Qualifications

  • BSc in Life Science Discipline Necessary, MSc or PhD desirable
  • Hands On, Practical Laboratory Experience Necessary
  • Knowledge of the CRO Market with an emphasis on One or More of the following: Gene Synthesis, Protein, Peptides, bioassay, Antibodies, Cell Line Products / Services
  • Fluent English and German
  • Ability to Accurately Forecast Monthly Sales
  • Ability to Travel up to 50% with multiple overnight stays

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with 2 – 5 years of Sales / Business Development / Account Management experience to expand their territory across Germany / Europe. There are excellent progression opportunities as this company is growing fast. The ideal candidate will be able to strategize in order to effectively promote this company’s offering across Germany, and later Austria, Hungary, Czech etc.

Salary / Bonus will depend on experience but a starting guideline of €60k + Bonus + car Allowance should be used.
