Key Responsibilities:

About the Person:

I am seeking someone who has a strong technical background in oral solid dosage forms. To be considered for this position you must have a strong knowledge of English and German.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a science related subject.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in drug development, with focus on solid dosage forms.
  • Minimum 3 years’ project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a global manufacturer of animal health sustainable performance solutions. We are currently recruiting for an accomplished Territory Manager overseeing the sales and business development of their US Swine Nutrition business.

In this key role, the successful applicant will lead the expansion of the companies Swine Nutritional Ingredient sales, managing key accounts, business development and assisting with long term product development.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead account management and establishing new business within the Swine Nutrition sector throughout the US.
  • Provide technical product support for key accounts across the US – including probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and yeast products.
  • Organisation sales visits, making presentations of different ranges of the products based on the needs and requests of each market.
  • Assist with growing the organisation’s presence in gut health product lines across the US.
  • Set up strategic partners throughout North America, establishing long term revenue streams with businesses in the swine sector.
  • Negotiating contracts, discussing prices and sales agreements, whilst attending trade exhibitions, fairs and conventions.
  • Work with R&D to identify new targets for product development and market expansion.
  • Analyse competitive landscape and identify market trends and amendments.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience within swine/pork production industry throughout the US.
  • Relationships with the top 40 US pork producers.
  • Technical understanding of swine health & nutrition products.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and commit to a high volume of travel across the Midwest and North West region.

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a privately-owned provider of laboratory testing services across USA. We are currently recruiting for an accomplished Laboratory Director overseeing the operations of a food testing lab.

In this key role, the successful applicant will manage the day-to-day operations of the lab and ensure the reliability, efficiency, and accuracy of testing results.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic business initiatives with the objective of consistently delivering accurate test results, maintaining client relationships, and driving continuous improvement across all operations
  • Ensure client requirements are met in a cost-effective manner by managing the laboratory budget to meet profitability targets
  • Provide operational, technical and administrative support to all departments
  • Optimize staff performance, through training, 1:1 meetings and evaluations
  • Support the consistent production of accurate results. Ensure on time delivery (OTD) of all projects. Ensure testing turnaround times (TAT) are met.
  • Ensure test results comply with internal and external audit standards and regulations
  • Ensure appropriate equipment and technical resources are provided and maintained
  • Ensure the attainment of company objectives through the selection, development, motivation, and evaluation of lab staff
  • Directly manage the laboratory operation relating to hiring, termination, and performance management issues.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to New York City, USA
  • Must hold a BSc degree from an accredited college/university, Master’s degree is preferred
  • Must have 10 years technical lab experience with 7 years management experience
  • Must have 5 years’ experience working with both analytical chemistry & microbiological food testing techniques
  • Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 17025 and the AOAC Food Guidelines.

 

The expected salary for this role would be in the region of $160,000 – $180,000 plus additional benefits.

Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection are currently partnered with a growing midsize feed additive manufacturer based in California. Due the organisation expanding we are looking to hire a Business Manager responsible for the development of the Pacific North West Business.

This role is part of a progression plan for the company across the US, as the same company is also looking to add to their dairy team in the North East and South West regions.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • 10 years’ experience selling dairy feed products in the Pacific North West region.
  • Value added feed additives sales experience with producer level relationships.
  • Ideally located in Idaho, or happy to do extensive travel within the region from another location.
  • Well connected in the dairy nutrition industry across Idaho, Washington, Utah and Northern California.
  • Strong understanding of dairy feed formulation, experience with balancing diets/nutritionist work is a considerable plus.
  • Able to commit to heavy travel of 50%+
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an animal production related field, Masters is a considerable plus.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop the Dairy business from almost zero in the PNW area, using existing a mixture of current contacts and developing new business.
  • Manage regional sales across Northern California, Idaho, Utah & Washington.
  • Introduce technical service and formulation teams to key accounts and develop long term relationships through bespoke product development.
  • Grow the Dairy division by hiring and training additional team members.
  • Promote the organisation at trade shows and conferences, producing marketing tools and briefs to assist with increasing the organisation’s brand awareness.
  • Assist with establishing supply channels for new customers and provide reliable after sale service.

My client has had a fantastic fiscal year 2020-2021 and is looking to build on this by expanding into the Mexico/Central America market. Therefore, they need a senior commercial candidate who can set up the affiliate and lead all sales activity for this area.

ROLE

  • Reporting into the Global Commercial Director, the candidate will set up the regional affiliate including sales office, strategies and business activity
  • Prepare a sales plan for the region and begin to work towards achievement of qualitative and quantitative objectives for sales growth
  • Establish customer contacts and open new doors
  • Negotiate and agree on commercial conditions with key customers to ensure profitability and healthy sales
  • Analyse the market for potential opportunities/competitor activity and define actions that will increase market share
  • Be an ambassador for the company and represent their values and product offering

REQUIREMENTS

  • Senior level sales experience, with a minimum of 5-10 years’.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement sales & business development strategy for food testing, inspection & certification services across Europe to ensure company’s sales & profitability targets are met.
  • Work with marketing & other business development teams to promote strategic areas of business & identify new revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for key accounts in order to drive top line revenue.
  • The maintenance and development of relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • The provision of timely and accurate information on competitive pricing of the company’s activities and assistance in the development and maintenance of price lists and pricing strategies to ensure achievement of the company’s financial targets and objectives.
