Sales Manager – Personal Care/ Pharma

Location: Benelux

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 + Package

THE BUSINESS

Mackenzie Stuart is representing a global provider of speciality chemicals for the Personal Care market in their search for an Sales Manager. The company is in a recruitment drive due to extensive growth over the last year and they are looking to bring on new talent to invigorate the sales and creative teams. This is a great opportunity to join an emerging team with realistic global progression.

THE ROLE

  • Overseeing a number of key/ local accounts across Benelux, growing business and managing relationships with contract manufacturers.
  • Maximising growth with new sales and new customer acquisition, to expand the territory.
  • Liaising closely with customers/suppliers to manage important relationships and ensure optimal business development.
  • Close communication with cross functional teams to maintain good knowledge of market trends and products
  • Travelling when necessary to meet and engage with key clients, customers and peers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3-10 years’ experience in a Personal Care/ Pharma sales role, managing local and key accounts
  • Must be flexible to travel when necessary.
  • Educated to Degree level, preferably technical
  • Fluent in Dutch & English necessary additional languages are also preferred
  • Proven track record of business development, growth and achievement of targets

Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of a globally leading manufacturer of Fragrance & Flavour Ingredients, to seek a Regulatory Affairs Manager for their US business. This role will be an integral part of the NOAM team, managing regulatory issues for products sold to customers, delivering technical consulting, relationship development, creating opportunities and upholding regulatory affairs for the region.

You Will Be Responsible For…

  • Managing all regulatory issues across North America for the fragrance business
  • Ensuring products, processes and systems are all compliant
  • Engaging customers and stakeholders to ensure all issues are resolved and providing technical consultation
  • Identify early legislative and regulatory issues and advise business on risks

Mackenzie Stuart is currently looking to recruit a Financial Analyst for a leading Food Production company. Reporting to the Finance Director, the position leads the financial analysis for the country, working closely with the Marketing team. My client offers excellent progression and development opportunities in Canada and globally for the right candidate as the organisation continues to grow.

The position will be based in the Montreal area.

The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Analyse financial reports as requested, including customer profitability analysis as well as monthly sales analysis
  • Develop new analyses and refine necessary information for decision making.
  • Participate in various projects such as process improvement and participating in budget forecasting.
  • Business partner with Marketing team and communicate relevant information to the sales department.
  • Develop forecasts and analyse deviations.
  • Validate and oversee the updating of customer agreements in SE system.
  • Be able to adapt and be independent, good organisational skills and excellent handling of pressure.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Analytical ability and problem solving.
  • French and English are a must.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on time.
  • Ability to identify processes for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel required.
  • Good presentation skills.

  • Must be willing to travel extensively – up to 50% of the time
  • Fluent in English, any extra languages would be a strong plus.
  • Has a solid understanding of North America Aquaculture business.

About the Role

The HS&E manager will look after all health, safety and environmental risks and clearly communicate prospective solutions to the Site Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and develop health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidance, in keeping with industry best practice and make recommendations on their implementation and application.
  • Provide independent professional advice and technical information where appropriate, to the Senior Management Team to ensure the business meets both its statutory and moral obligations.
  • Keep staff and Managers abreast of changes in appropriate Legislation and relevant Codes of Practice.
  • Second point of contact for regulatory bodies (Environment Agency, HSE, Local Authority) ensuring the relevant regulatory requirements are being met.
  • Manage workplace safety audits and ensure that any remedial recommendations are implemented.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports and conduct annual HS&E Management Review / Audit.

Required:

  • Strong understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry, and ability to adapt to the differing HS&E requirements throughout Europe.
  • 5+ years of Health Safety and Environmental experience
  • Strong team building & organisational skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate managerial skills – managing varied interests representing potential conflicts.
  • Proven experience of leading cultural change that has driven HS&E performance improvements.
  • Professional HS&E Qualification looked upon favourably.
