The Business

This role within a leading Contract Manufacturer of Beauty & Personal Care Products, offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to enhance their career. As the sales manager you would be responsible for the maintenance of key client relationships and development of new business covering the EMEA region.

The Role

Key Account Manager, EMEA – Feed Additives
Location: EMEA (home-based)

About The Company

Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of a global feed additive organisation, in the search of a “Key Account Manager – EMEA” for their Animal Nutrition feed additive business. This role is responsible for driving sales of feed additives for the Livestock market and the continued development of critical key accounts.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on the sales targets of the organisation, organising sales activities with short-medium-long terms targets and increasing this in line with said targets
  • Maintaining and improving relationships with customers in the region
  • Establishing new business, and mapping potential customers
  • Organisation sales visits, making presentations of different ranges of the products on the basis of the needs and requests of every markets.
  • Negotiating contracts, discussing prices and sales agreements
  • Attending trade exhibitions, fairs and conventions
  • Surveying and supervising the activity of the competitors on the market

About The Person

We are seeking someone with a strong commercial background, who has experience selling Nutritional Ingredients and feed additives into the Livestock market. To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience managing a sales region within the UK.

Required:

  • University graduate/Bachelor Degree (technical or animal nutritional degree preferred)
  • Min 5 years of commercial sales experience within the Animal Nutrition sector, or adjacent environment.
  • Must have experience working in the UK animal nutrition market.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively – up to 70% of the time
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and at least one other language

Mackenzie Stuart is exclusively representing a leading manufacturer of Flavours & Fragrances, to secure a new Perfumery Director. THE ROLE

  • To manage the day-to-day running of the Perfumery department in the UK, managing workflow and projects (from global clients) to ensure on-time delivery and meet objectives
  • To create new fragrances in line with customer briefs
  • To modify existing fragrances for reasons of cost, suitability or aesthetic
  • To take part in odour evaluation exercises and quality control procedures where required
  • To manage a team of Perfumers; guiding and developing their creative skills (up to 4 direct reports)
  • To provide clear guidance and input on enquiries received from customers
  • To monitor performance of the department and make changes where necessary
  • To do everything possible to increase the sales of the company products
  • To devise and implement strategy and policies agreed with the BoD to enhance sales, performance and profit

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 10+ years’ Perfumery experience
  • Still an “Active Perfumer” in the current market, well equipped to continue fragrance creation and formulation
  • Managerial experience is crucial, in particular, the ability to lead a department on workflow/projects to achieve goals
  • A process orientated and enthusiastic character, someone who wishes to add value and really make an impact
  • BS Chem/Technical related degree minimum

THE ROLE

The purpose of this position is to develop sustainable and profitable business by managing a number of allocated key accounts across the territory. A big part of the position will also involve new business development, for both new customers and existing. Proactive field sales with aggressive strategy is key. The successful candidate will have responsibility for:

*Implementing and developing commercial strategy for the allocated portfolio to meet and exceed sales targets.
*Identify client needs and market trends, perform market analysis and research new opportunities for development.
