Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with an international organisation specializing in the manufacturing of Veterinary Pharmaceuticals, in the search of a Business Unit Manager. This is a key role within the organisation and will be responsible for achieving the companies Financial Objectives in the EU.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the EU, ability to speak fluent English.
  • Educated with a Veterinary or Business related degree. MBA or DVM would be a considerable advantage.
  • +10 year’s commercial experience, with specific exposure to the Animal Pharmaceutical Industry, and international sales experience is a considerable advantage.
  • Must be open to travel at least 25% of the time.
  • Entrepreneurial and motivated self-starter who can be the focal point for new customers and existing customers.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • In depth analysis of the market environment in order to identify market and competitor trends, leading to the identification of new business opportunities.
  • Lead the Business Unit with +5 direct reports from numerous functions including Sales, Marketing, Technical and HR.
  • Define and implement the companies go to market strategies working in conjunction with the marketing, R&D and Sales team.
  • Working in synergy with the marketing team, for the successful launch of products, in order to achieve sales targets and increase P/L.
  • Negotiating contracts, discussing prices and sales agreements, whilst establishing long terms relationships with KOLs.

The Global Brand Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of the global multi-million$ portfolio and is a business critical member of the marketing team. The Global Brand manager will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for developing and implementing the global strategy of the brand.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the global brand strategy in alignment with the companies’ go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop the business plan to ensure revenue and profit targets are hit annually.
  • Work in conjunction with the leadership team to develop a commercial strategy in line with the global strategy.
  • Identify key research objectives with the use of various statistics and market research techniques.
  • Work cross functionally with ad-agencies to develop innovative and creative marketing campaigns.

Required:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an equivalent role relating to consumer marketing. (Direct experience in Animal Health would be preferred)
  • Educated with a Bachelors Degree. MBA would be seen as a considerable advantage.
  • Eligible to work in the US.
  • Travel up to 30%.

ROLE

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to sales and product managers across the region.
