Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of one of the largest animal health product distributors in North America, in the search of a “Sales Manager, North America” for their Animal Health business.

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the sales of their veterinary portfolio to veterinarians, hospitals and livestock producers.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on the sales targets of the organisation, organising sales activities with short-medium-long terms targets and increasing this in line with said targets
  • Maintaining and improving relationships with customers in the region
  • Establishing new business and expanding the customer base.
  • Organisation sales visits, making presentations of different ranges of the products on the basis of the needs and requests of every markets.
  • Negotiating contracts, discussing prices and sales agreements
  • Attending trade exhibitions, fairs and conventions
  • Surveying and supervising the activity of the competitors on the market

About The Person

We are seeking someone with a strong commercial background, who has experience selling a variety of product ranges across the companion, production and equine markets. To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience managing a sales region within North America.

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree (technical degree preferred)
  • +5 years of working experience within the Animal Health industry, in a sales management or business development role.
  • Must have experience managing a region within North America.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively – up to 60% of the time
  • Fluent in English

About the Company

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with an international manufacturer of Veterinary Diagnostics products in search of a Sales Manager to drive their business in the DACH region. The company manufacture a diverse portfolio of veterinary diagnostics and medical devices and have ambitious plans to double the revenue in the next 3 years.

 

About the Role

  • Direct responsibility for achieving the sales targets and expanding the customer base in the DACH region.
  • Key account management – develop and fine tune long term relationships with key customers throughout the region.
  • Market analysis – stay up to date with market trends, identifying opportunities for future growth.
  • Manage a team currently with 3 direct reports – opportunity to double the size of the team in the next two years.
  • Strategy implementation- work closely with the regional director to identify growth opportunities and marketing opportunities in the region.
  • Negotiating contracts, discussing prices and sales agreements Attending trade exhibitions, fairs and conventions
  • Surveying and supervising the activity of the competitors on the market

 

About the Person

Required:

  • Educated with a bachelor’s degree. Masters or veterinary degree would be considered an advantage.
  • Fluent English & German.
  • +5 years commercial experience in Animal Health. Veterinary Diagnostics would be preferred.
  • Business development acumen with experience developing business and revenue from scratch would be considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of the kol’s in the DACH region.
  • Domestic travel – 30% of the time.

Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with a global manufacturer of Animal Health products, in search of a Key Account Manager to drive the sales of their livestock portfolio in Spain. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with key clients in the region but will also be responsible for identifying new business development opportunities.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Based Spain.
  • Fluent – English & Spanish.
  • Educated with a bachelor’s degree. Master or DVM would be a considerable advantage.
  • +5 years’ experience in business development/account management-based positions.
  • Experience and understanding of the Livestock market with an existing network of kol’s.
  • Open to domestic travel – 30% of the time.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountable for the regional sales, increasing demand and developing long term relationship with key clients in the region.
