Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with a leading Valve manufacturing company. The organisation is one of the industry leaders in the world with a renowned global presence.

Due to expansion, the organisation is seeking to recruit an Inside Sales Manager – Control Valves – based in Milan for a leading manufacturer of Control Valve products. This is a senior position within the organisation and the candidate must match the exacting requirements for the position.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the EU without visa sponsorship
  • Currently located in Milan or willing to relocate
  • Educated to degree level in an Engineering or related degree discipline
  • 10+ years’ industry experience in the Oil & Gas industry with specific knowledge of Control Valve products
  • 5+ years inside sales experience with expertise in the application engineering, quotes, tenders and size & selection processes
  • Experience leading a team of inside sales engineers to deliver high quality tender and bids

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the full commercial and technical activities for bids & tenders for the Control Valves product portfolio
  • Manage a team of inside sales engineers through each phase of the tender process providing leadership and expertise
  • Lead the technical processes for sizing and selection of Control Valves for bespoke customer requirements
  • Work with engineering, manufacturing and sales leaders to deliver coherent and successful bids & proposals
  • Reporting into the Head of Sales.

Mackenzie Stuart is currently seeking a Corporate Account Manager to be located in Columbus, Ohio.

As a Senior Account Manager (SAM), you will develop and sustain long-term strategic customer relationships for mutual growth, profitability, trust, loyalty, and innovation. The SAM must leverage our enterprise resources and capabilities in creating value-based solutions to meet both the customer’s and company’s current and future requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve revenue and gross profit business goals for defined strategic accounts
  • Create and execute an account growth strategy aligned with global marketing through efficient utilization of company resources
  • Improve client satisfaction and loyalty by maintaining the company brand across corporate customer locations and documenting value delivery
  • Refresh products purchased by strategic customers with new technology offerings
  • Build network of relationships across entire client organization at high levels
  • Maintain a strong performance coaching culture for talent development
  • Execute an effective account profitability and pricing strategy while maximizing cash flow

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years selling to heavy manufacturing industries. Paper industry is ideal.
  • Demonstrated success at selling value propositions to high level decision makers
  • Confident delivery of boardroom presentations
  • Leading and unifying broad teams toward collaborative customer efforts
  • Creating innovative negotiation outcomes to enhance contract profitability
  • Navigating joint development agreements with customer R&D departments
  • Ability to travel 60-70%
  • Strong working knowledge of basic IT (MS Office and other utilization tools)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a leading international organization specializing in the provision of specialized products, equipment and system solutions for filtration & separation and water technology for various applications.

Our client has a strong reputation in the Water industry and operates across multiple industry sectors including Chemicals, Construction, Food & Beverage, Industrial Water Treatment, Oil & Gas, Portable Water Treatment, Power, Refineries, Sewerage and Wastewater Treatment.

The organization is seeking to recruit a General Manager / Managing Director – Japan. This is a senior leadership role that will be responsible for leading the organisations in Japan and also to provide strategic and operational support to the organisation across the wider Asia Pacific region.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

*Located or willing and able to relocate to Yokohama or Susono.
*Educated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similarly related. A Master’s degree would be preferred but not essential.
*Must have a minimum of 10 year’s experience in the Water industry, specifically with an organisation manufacturing water technologies and equipment would be preferred.
*Will have strong knowledge and technical understanding of water technology products and projects.
*Must have water / waste water experience across multiple industry sectors – preferably including Oil & Gas, Refineries, Chemicals and Power.
*Will have worked extensively in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. It is critical that this individual has a good network of contacts and cultural understanding of the local business environment in Japan.
*Must have managed a $multi-million P&L and show a proven track record of leadership and business growth at a country/ regional level.
*Have a sales / business development mind set with an ability to utilise your network of contacts to grow and increase sales revenues.
*Will have strong leadership, communication, management and team working abilities. Must speak English to a level of business proficiency.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

*Responsible for leading and managing the organisations operations in Japan and providing support to the wider Asia Pacific region.
*Accountable for a P&L of over $5 Million and 35+ employees and will report directly to the corporate HQ to the Board of Directors.
*Will travel domestically and internationally to support sales and operations across the region.
*Will be responsible for driving regional business growth with a particular emphasis on sales and business development strategy.
*Manages, trains and mentors junior employees to ensure a highly motivated and dedicated workforce with a focus on staff retention and internal development.
