Director of Network Planning

The Client:

Mackenzie Stuart is working with an International Airline to source candidates with Director level experience in the network planning and strategy sector.

The Role:

  • Prepare and implement corporate strategy, looking after revenue management and pricing strategy
  • Improve route profitability and look to create and remove routes to increase overall revenue
  • Work with the rest of the corporate team to identify new and emerging stations/markets that we can grow
  • Develop periodical reports highlighting cost savings and where commercial operations can be optimised
  • Work together with senior network planning officials as well as the marketing team to increase business in key hubs and stations as well as bringing new products to market
  • Evaluate the competition within the region and develop strategies to increase business and develop new sales channels
  • Reports to VP – Strategy & Scheduling

 

The Requirements:

  • Legal right to work in the US
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial strategy and market analysis
  • Able to travel 30% of the time
  • Excellent communication skills as the successful candidate will have to speak with individuals throughout all levels of the company
  • Excellent presentation skills as you will be required to pitch and develop new synergies and cost saving initiatives
  • Track record of developing strategies to give the airline a competitive edge over other carriers
  • Previous experience in managing multimillion dollar budget and cost responsibilities
  • Previous experience with a Top 10 North American carrier

The Role:

  • Create and implement sales and marketing programs designed for the Eastern USA market, focusing on agency sales
  • Manage activities that establish and promote a business climate in the Eastern region that promotes business growth.  Develop political and community relationships to promote and maintain the company’s profile in the region.

Anatomic Pathologist – UK

Due to the continued expansion and domination on a global scale the need for an Anatomic Pathologist has arisen. The company are wanting to grow their pathology team within the UK and are seeking highly experienced and motivated individuals to join their team. The successful candidate will is required for the anatomic pathology sector of the central laboratory for clinical trials of new pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.
Responsibilities;
*Review routine histopathology slides on a daily basis to ensure the laboratory meet turnaround times for enrolment into clinical trials
*Establish and provide morphological diagnosis on H&E stained slides on both oncological and general surgical pathology samples as per clinical trial requirements
*Review and score immunohistochemistry and FISH slides
*Establish new histopathology assays in the laboratory
*Provide pathologist input to discussions with clinical trial sponsors, both to facilitate winning business and to ensure the delivery of goals of the clinical trial are met in a time efficient and cost effective manner
Requirements;
*Excellent knowledge of routine histopathology testing, immunohistochemistry, cytogenetics testing procedures and applicable laboratory testing regulations
*Working knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles and an in depth knowledge of company specific program requirements
*Excellent written and oral communication skills

*Accountable for a P&L of over $5 Million and 35+ employees and will report directly to the corporate HQ to the Board of Directors.
*Will travel domestically and internationally to support sales and operations across the region.
*Will be responsible for driving regional business growth with a particular emphasis on sales and business development strategy.

The Role:
* Due to plans for expansion, the business requires an experienced Key Account Manager primarily with a background in the hunting of medium to large sized Automotive & Machinery focused customers to help drive growth in Germany with newly acquired industry businesses, and to integrate these with the current accounts effectively.

ROLE
The successful candidate would have responsibility of managing 12 highly successful home care and complex care branches. Operating in both the domiciliary and complex care markets the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance of the branches remains high whilst also adhering to CQC regulations.
This role would involve working closely with Branch Managers providing support and guidance where needed to ensure the portfolio remains operationally strong. The successful candidate will also hold the budget for these branches, and will be expected to ensure over expenditure is kept to a minimum, reducing agency staffing usage where possible.
Bid tendering would also be involved in this role, with the candidate focusing on maintaining and building relationships where possible.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must have previous operational experience with a proven track record within home care / complex care. Experience of multi-site management is considered a requirement for this role with the successful candidate having previously managed at least 6 branches.
The successful candidate must have previously held budgetary responsibility with experience in new branch start-ups being preferable for this role.
The candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience in managing and supporting branch managers to ensure the services are performing to the best of their ability and meeting all relevant CQC requirements – continuously striving for ‘Outstanding’ ratings as well as to continue the growth and success of the branches.
