Area Sales Manager of Hospice & Palliative Care

Mackenzie Stuart is working with a leading Hospice & Palliative care provider with facilities spanning across the US. They are currently looking for a candidate to come on board and manage their sales portfolio to aid the organisation in its growth and operational success.

Our client is one of the leading providers in the Hospice Care industry, with services spanning across the US they have in recent years experienced significant growth and success, taking on a number of new services and contracts. Our client is an employee centred organisation, recognising that employees are the key to their success, and offer extensive training and opportunities to all their employees.
The organisation focuses on working closely as a transparent team, ensuring all employees have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our client is now looking to continue their success within the healthcare market through taking on ambitious and driven individuals with the future plan to continue their growth and success.


The successful candidate would have the responsibility of managing the relationships between both internal medical professionals and external companies in the region, currently consisting of 2 facilities, with future plans to expand this.

The role would involve building strong relationships with various agencies and be a representative of the company as a whole to the public. The role would also require the promotion of knowledge about hospice and home care that the company provides, and the most effective way to access these services.

This position requires a strong determination to exceed all admission targets, to continue the growth and success of the company.


The successful candidate must have a college level qualification, preferably with a licensed nursing background. Previous experience with sales, and Hospice and/or Home Care is also required.

The successful candidate must have a strong base in customer service and highly developed communication skills, as the role requires the building of new relationships, and the presentation of information to senior management.

The candidate must possess a highly resilient and adaptable attitude, to ensure success in this challenging environment.
