Mackenzie Stuart is working closely with a global leading transportation and infrastructure Contractor with a number of high profile mega projects throughout Canada. The organisation is actively looking to recruit a Bid Director to lead bids in the P3/Design Build heavy civil infrastructure market across Canada.
*Responsible for business development, proposal and bid management of major transportation projects across Canada.
*Focus on +$1Bn Public Private Partnership heavy civil infrastructure & transportation projects.
*Lead bid management process, estimating, planning, costing, scheduling and bid negotiation.
*Direct a team of proposal and contracts managers to keep to KPI’s to ensure the company’s pricing policy is utilised and optimize profitability.
*Manage bid qualification Go/No Go process for new opportunities.
*Contract negotiations with owners, lenders, equity partners, O&Ms, designers and subcontractors.
*Present portfolio review meetings to provide regular updates on performance to Executive Leadership.
*Degree educated in Civil Engineering, MBA preferred.
*20 years relevant experience within the Canadian construction market.
*Strong portfolio of successful transportation projects across Canada.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Experience leading RFQ & RFP process.
*Experience in P3 procurement processes.
*Strong technical, legal, finance skills
