Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a Global Top 10 3PL provider on the search for a Business Development Manager based in France specializing in the Freight Forwarding market. The company is looking for a candidate with an extensive background in the Fashion/Luxury or Healthcare/Pharma industries.
Location: Paris or Lyon
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives within the French Freight Forwarding market.
- Identify and target potential clients, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
- Implement robust sales tracking and reporting systems to monitor sales performance, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5+ years of Sales experience across the Air, Ocean, or Ground Freight Forwarding market
- University educated
- In-depth knowledge of the French French Freight Forwarding market, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
