Business Unit Manager – Food Testing

Mackenzie Stuart is currently partnered with a leading Food Testing, Inspection and Certification organisation who are actively recruiting for a Laboratory Business Unit Manager.

This position will be responsible for both the strategic plans and operations management. This is an on-site position based in the Utrecht provinces.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the performance and growth of the business unit 
• Formulate and execute the strategic goals in line with the organisational goals
• Ensure synergy between cross-functional departments, including customer service, administration, logistics, quality and laboratory
• Ensure the quality of services and operation of the business systems according to ISO 17025
• Implementing process improvement in accordance to LEAN model
• Set and lead growth and turnover goals
• Ensure employee engagement and development

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the food testing industry
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience, ideally leading a laboratory or operations
• Strong understanding of quality standards including ISO 17025
