Mackenzie Stuart is currently partnered with a leading Food Testing, Inspection and Certification organisation who are actively recruiting for a Laboratory Business Unit Manager.
This position will be responsible for both the strategic plans and operations management. This is an on-site position based in the Utrecht provinces.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the performance and growth of the business unit
- Formulate and execute the strategic goals in line with the organisational goals
- Ensure synergy between cross-functional departments, including customer service, administration, logistics, quality and laboratory
- Ensure the quality of services and operation of the business systems according to ISO 17025
- Implementing process improvement in accordance to LEAN model
- Set and lead growth and turnover goals
- Ensure employee engagement and development
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the food testing industry
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience, ideally leading a laboratory or operations
- Strong understanding of quality standards including ISO 17025
