Mackenzie Stuart is working closely with a global leading Infrastructure & Transportation Contractor with a number of high profile mega projects throughout Canada. The organisation is actively looking to recruit a Design Manager for large infrastructure projects.
*The Design Manager leads and oversees the development of design plans for mega infrastructure projects across Canada typically +$500M.
*Responsible for coordinating, planning and organising design work of different departments.
*Coordinate draft construction schedule to outline construction timings for design elements.
*Develop and implement design review measures.
*Client liaison to determine requirements and present design work.
*Represent the company in meetings with government officials and client.
*Oversee financial aspects of the contracts.
*Bachelor Degree in Design or Architecture.
*+7 years’ experience in construction design sector.
*Design management experience on Infrastructure projects.
*Strong understanding of construction drawings.
*Excellent technical, communication, organisational, managerial and planning skills.
*Proficient with multiple Design Software.
*Bilingual French & English language preferred.
