Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a market leading logistics company. The company is a leading international Logistics and Supply Chain solution provider.

 

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Process Engineer, specialising in Contract Logistics & Supply Chain solutions based in either Atlanta, Georgia or Chicago, Illinois. The role will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Contract Logistics.

 

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

• Work to apply logistical modelling techniques to drive process improvements in facility design and layouts
• Assist new client implementation throughout the company network
• Utilise software programs such as Power BI to evaluate current logistical processes and help streamline future operations
• Prepare documentation using data reporting, forecasting, procurement, transportation and warehousing
• Use Excel software to capture data, translate and provide analysis on where improvements can be made
• Create action plans utilising data and consult with internal and external stakeholders to enact and implement plans
• Conduct time studies, rate and flow path analyses to maximise facility effectiveness
• Manage relationships and formulate agreements with external parties and vendors

 

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

 

• Candidate must have 5+ years experience within a Logistics and Supply Chain related role or company
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to either Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL

• Experience with Power BI preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel software

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Logistics Management or Logistics Engineering
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 40%
• The candidate is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
• Must be fluent in English both orally and written

 

The expected salary for this role is between USD$60K – $80K USD.
