Service Technician – Packaging Machinery

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading packaging machinery manufacturer who are looking for a Service Technician to join their growing team, in this role, you will cover the European region. We are looking for someone to Service and repair the range of machines and partner products on site for our existing customer base, new customers, and new areas of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of new machines and tooling, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
  • Educating the client on how to use and maintain their machines
  • Perform maintenance and provide customer support
  • Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
  • Fill out job reports and keep records on services that have been performed
  • Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Assists with technical sales projects

Experience:

  • Fluent verbal & written English (Spanish or French a bonus)
  • Experience of electrical systems (Packaging Machinery knowledge a bonus)
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
  • Ability to work independently without much supervision
  • Open to 50-70% international travel

Must be Located in Germany, Italy or Belgium
