Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our clients sales team within the Los Angeles Freight Forwarding market. The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and building strong client relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry and a proven track record in sales leadership.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives within the USA Freight Forwarding market.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
- Identify and target potential clients, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
- Implement robust sales tracking and reporting systems to monitor sales performance, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Candidate Requirements:
- 10+ years Sales experience across Air, Ocean or Ground Freight Forwarding markets
- 5+ years’ experience in logistics leadership positions
- In-depth knowledge of the US Freight Forwarding market, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
