Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a rapidly expanding Asset-based Drayage & Intermodal provider on the search for a Vice President of Business Development (Individual Contributor) with great relationships with BCO’s.
Our client has a great presence across the US, with both asset & brokerage divisions.
USA based (remote)
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively seek, and onboard new business with new and existing customers, with a focus on the Drayage & Full truckload market across the US
- Coordinate new sales opportunities as an individual contributor, focused on hunting new business
- Travel to key customer locations to maintain and develop high-level relationships across the market
- Work closely with customers to identify growth opportunities & address concerns
- Report directly to the CCO
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- 5-10 years sales experience within Drayage, Intermodal & Full truckload
- Strong relationships with BCO’s
- Strong Drayage book of business
- Proven track record of success as a hunter
