Key Account Manager – Personal Care Packaging (LA / SF)

Mackenzie Stuart are currently recruiting on behalf on a rapidly growing, innovative multi-national specializing in personal care / beauty packaging products and services. The role is for a Key Account Manager and can be based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco, California.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA is an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the packaging industry, preferably with airless dispensers, pumps and tubes
  • Strong experience selling into the personal care security market
  • Track record of growing existing business as well as securing new customers
  • Must be open to international travel 50% of the time
  • Entrepreneurial and motivated self-starter who can be the focal point for new customers and existing customers
  • Understand and capable of implementing value-based comparative selling strategies
  • Proficient use of personal computer

 

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and grow existing sales; actively seeking new business resulting in profitable growth
  • Develop key client relationships at all levels with existing customers and prospects
  • Negotiating contracts, discussing prices and sales agreements, whilst establishing long terms relationships with customers
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations; participate in trade show activities
  • Manage the administrative aspects of the role including quoting, forecasting and budgeting
  • Collaborate effectively across engineering, customer service, operations and other internal functions to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth
