Senior Scientist

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a market-leading Point of Care Diagnostics company. They are looking for a Senior Scientist to join their team in San Diego. This is a full-time onsite position.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of a high-sensitivity immunodiagnostic platform. You will be applying biochemistry technologies to develop antibodies, antigens, conjugations and formulations. The ideal candidate will champion the proteins used in the system. This role is critical for developing and optimizing immunoassays.

Requirements

• BSc with 9+ years related experience
• MS with 7+ years related experience
• PhD with 5+ years related experience
• Experience with protein or small molecule conjugation techniques, particle size analysis, particle chemistry
• Competent in analytical techniques such as HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, Size Exclusion Chromatography, spectroscopic analysis
• Experience with microparticle-antibody conjugation preferred
• Background in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, virology, immunology, or related field
