Sr. Bioengineer

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a market-leading Point of Care Diagnostics company. They are looking for a Senior Bioengineer to join their team in San Diego. This is a full-time onsite position.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of a high-sensitivity immunodiagnostic platform. You will develop and execute experiments as part of the development process for a cartridge-based immunoassay, bringing together microfluidics, material science and thermodynamics considerations.

Requirements

• BSc with 8+ years related experience or MS with 6+ years related experience or PhD with 3+ years related experience
• Research work in area related to assay development or system or device engineering
• Engineering expertise for the design, development, validation and deployment of novel assays
• Proficient understanding of the overall cartridge design process
• Experience with development of diagnostic products using biomarkers in the Point of Care setting
• Knowledge of CGMP requirements and preferably FDA and ISO 9000 requirements
