Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a market leading logistics company. The company is a full-service logistics provider, focusing on Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding solutions.

 

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Ocean Freight Manager, focusing on the East Coast USA, specialising in Ocean Freight Forwarding solutions. 

The role will be a hybrid of remote working and the candidate will ideally be based in New York, NY,. The role will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations.

 

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Offer support to the Ocean Operations teams, supporting process enhancements
  • Serve as an escalation point to any operationally focused challenges within the region
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand processes and deliver solution enhancements and resolutions
  • Ensure invoicing and compliance procedures are adhered to
  • Communicate systems changes across the organisation
  • Reinforce processes and instruct staff on how to manage systems
  • Work towards any FMC rules and procedures

 

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Candidate must have 7+ years experience within an Ocean Freight Forwarding position
  • Must come from a predominantly operations focused background
  • Ideally will have experience using CargoWise systems
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to New York, NY
  • Comfortable with a certain amount of regional travel
  • The candidate is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
  • Must be fluent in English both orally and written

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a market leading logistics company. The company is a full-service logistics provider, focusing on Freight Forwarding solutions.

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Ocean Freight Manager, focusing on the Benelux region specialising in Ocean Freight Forwarding solutions. The position will be based in Rotterdam, NL and will be reporting directly to the Global Director of Ocean.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Offer support to the Ocean Operations teams, supporting process enhancements and formulating a national product plan
  • Responsible for the set-up and execution of standard operating procedures within the Benelux region
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand processes and deliver solution enhancements and resolutions
  • Act as an escalation point to operationally focused challenges within the region
  • Collaborate with Trade Lane Managers & Sales Teams to ensure delivery and customer service levels are at a premium
  • Ensure invoicing and compliance procedures are adhered to
  • Reinforce processes and instruct staff on how to manage systems
  • Responsible for the measurement and benchmarking of KPIs such as productivity & profitability within the region

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Candidate must have 8+ years experience within an Ocean Freight Forwarding position
  • Must come from a predominantly operations focused background
  • Proven track record of LCL/FCL experience within the Benelux region
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Rotterdam, The Netherlands
  • Open top a certain amount of travel within the region
  • An academic degree is preferred, but not essential
  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch both orally and written

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a market leading Third-Party Logistics company. The company is a leading full-service solutions provider who have an expansive Warehousing & Distribution network across North America.

 

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Industrial Engineer, specialising in Continuous Improvement projects relative to a Warehousing and Distribution environment. The role would ideally be based within the New Brunswick, NJ region.

 

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide engineering support for operations teams and project manage continuous improvement schemes
  • Direct responsibility for 1.5Msqft of Warehousing space across 6 facilities
  • Participate in scope confirmation sessions with clients and conduct gap analysis to ensure issues are resolved
  • Lead process improvements for Warehouse Management Systems
  • Understand customer requirements and develop proposals to ensure contractual value is realised for all parties
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure that strategies are aligned accordingly
  • Work with internal and external stakeholder to ensure any engineering relative needs are met
  • Travel to multiple facilities across the region, and work with local operations teams to provide solutions when required
  • Manage relationships and formulate agreements with external parties and vendors

 

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Must be located or willing to relocate to the New Brunswick, NJ region and be comfortable with a remote work environment
  • Be comfortable with +40% regional travel
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Automation and WMS systems
  • 5+ years of relevant Supply Chain and Warehousing experience
  • Master’s degree is preferred in Engineering, Bachelor’s is essential, ideally in Engineering or Supply Chain relative field
  • The candidate is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
  • Must have general knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications such as PowerBi PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Must be fluent in English both orally and written, Spanish is a bonus

 

The expected salary range is between $95K – $105K USD.
