Progression

Career development can take many forms at Mackenzie Stuart depending on your aspirations and skillset. Consultants could expect to progress into a managerial role within 12 – 18 months, and progress to become a Business Manager within 18 – 24 months. Beyond that, your career could take you to Divisional Manager/ Director level, or you could choose to take the route of owning an equity stake and running your own recruitment business within our group.

Coming out of university I knew I wanted to go into sales and executive search fit with my career goals – fast progression, career growth and rewards for effort. I quickly built long lasting relationships with leading Biotech companies within my market and made my first placement within a couple of months. Although there’s a lot to learn, my Manger and my team have helped me every step of the way and their constant support has massively improved my knowledge and confidence within my scientific market.

The office is full of young, likeminded people which makes it extremely easy to fit in and feel involved from the get-go. The whole office is ambitious and committed to being successful and I thoroughly enjoy being a part of my team – the ambition and shared goals really motivate you and we always pick each other up on a down day!
