Field Application Scientist – New York & New Jersey – Immunoassays

Mackenzie Stuart are currently based a US leading provider of biomarker analysis instruments and reagents. As an organization they focus within the; Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology & Infectious disease markets. Due to the companies continued expansion across the globe the need for a Field Application Specialist covering the New York & New Jersey area has arisen and would be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the assigned territory

Responsibilities;

  • Provide technical expertise to the Sales & Market Development teams to drive this portfolio throughout the assigned territory
  • Full responsibility for all pre and post-sales support activities
  • Represent the organization in a professional capacity at conferences and tradeshows demonstrating the technology to prospective customers
  • Provide both basic and advanced training to users
  • Respond to technical questions and queries by customers throughout assigned territory

Requirements;

  • MSc in relevant academic subject
  • 2-5 years in customer facing role providing training, troubleshooting and customer support
  • Strong understanding of immunoassay platforms and technology
  • Willing to travel upto 50-60% of the time
  • Full clean driving license
  • Fluent in English

Mackenzie Stuart is working with a leading Hospice & Palliative care provider with facilities spanning across the US. They are currently looking for a candidate to come on board and manage their sales portfolio to aid the organisation in its growth and operational success.

CLIENT
Our client is one of the leading providers in the Hospice Care industry, with services spanning across the US they have in recent years experienced significant growth and success, taking on a number of new services and contracts. Our client is an employee centred organisation, recognising that employees are the key to their success, and offer extensive training and opportunities to all their employees.
The organisation focuses on working closely as a transparent team, ensuring all employees have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our client is now looking to continue their success within the healthcare market through taking on ambitious and driven individuals with the future plan to continue their growth and success.

ROLE

The successful candidate would have the responsibility of managing the relationships between both internal medical professionals and external companies in the region, currently consisting of 2 facilities, with future plans to expand this.

The role would involve building strong relationships with various agencies and be a representative of the company as a whole to the public. The role would also require the promotion of knowledge about hospice and home care that the company provides, and the most effective way to access these services.

This position requires a strong determination to exceed all admission targets, to continue the growth and success of the company.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must have a college level qualification, preferably with a licensed nursing background. Previous experience with sales, and Hospice and/or Home Care is also required.

The successful candidate must have a strong base in customer service and highly developed communication skills, as the role requires the building of new relationships, and the presentation of information to senior management.

The candidate must possess a highly resilient and adaptable attitude, to ensure success in this challenging environment.

We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and promotional programs for existing products.
  • Work with and train sales forces to be able to effectively & successfully sell products to customers
  • Review monthly financial performance whilst simultaneously offering innovative strategies to increase productivity
  • Provide product Training to the sales team and demonstrations to medical staff
  • Work in close co-operation with the R&D and Product Development teams throughout the development processes
  • Support forecasts and budgets with appropriately detailed marketing plans.
  • Continue to Develop the Wound Care portfolio to achieve the growth plans set out by the Senior Leadership Team

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Marketing/Product Management within the Wound Care industry
  • A Proven track record of successful product launches within a commercial environment
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
