The Client

Mackenzie Stuart are working for a leading public utility company which distributes electricity to its wholesale electric customers. They support the electric transmission network through more than 5,000 miles of transmission lines and over 350 substations. They are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager – Transmission to support Operations function of the Project Management office.

The Role

  • At an intermediate to senior level, manages business, technology and/or construction of the company’s Transmission projects.
  • Deliver specified project requirements within the constraints of scope, quality, time, cost and meeting customer satisfactions.
  • Responsible for the development scope decomposition, budgets and schedules.
  • Ensure projects results meet requirements.
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes.
  • Acts as primary contact for stakeholders and for project team members.
  • Approves or recommends approval of project expenditures.
  • Keeps stakeholders informed of progress
  • Travels independently or with a small team to project sites as needed.

 

Key Requirements

  • Nine of more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management.
  • A degree (s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer sciences.
  • Driving license require.

Mackenzie Stuart is currently seeking an Key Account Manager with plenty of experience in the water chemicals industry to be located in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Summary:

You will be primarily responsible for revenue and profit growth of company programs and services in targeted accounts within the Chemical and Power industries. You will be required to take a consultative sales approach with a strong emphasis on converting strategic competitive accounts to the company. In addition, you must build long-term relationships with an existing customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate and execute sales plans and strategies to close major, competitively-held accounts. Target % sales time will be greater than 20%.
  • Work closely with large, strategic current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives.
  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Actively sell and support innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with the company.
  • Demonstrate strong team leadership by supporting the training of other District Reps, championing corporate initiatives, and by planning and leading portions of District Meetings.
  • Demonstrate the ability to stabilize jeopardy business in large, strategic accounts.
  • Possible travel within assigned sales territory

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience
  • >5% overnight travel required to support sales territory
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
  • 7+ years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience with a proven sales track record
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
  • Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
  • Sales history of calling on multi-level plant or facilities management, and developing executive-level relationships
  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.

The expected salary for this role would be in the region of $100,000 – $120,000 plus OTE 15-20% plus added benefits.

* They provide solutions and supply chain optimisation solutions throughout the UK & Europe in particular with a focus on EPC and Oil & Gas customers.

The Role:
* Due to plans for continuing the growth, the business requires an experienced Branch Manager to help drive growth in the UK with newly acquired industry business, and to integrate these with the current business
* The role will involve full responsibility for the branch of 10 individuals, with the aim to grow the sales operations team.
* Targeting leading clients within select industry verticals, and by internal operations too, you will utilise your high level relationships to help set the structures in place to secure sales growth and to align the business with the strategic intents outlined.

* Ideally the candidate will have managed a P+L budget of £20m.
* Grassroots experience in a logistics environment in a number of different disciplines and locations would be highly beneficial.
* The ideal candidate will be based already in a commutable distance to Heathrow.

The Role

  • Develop an overall strategy, which articulate market trends/ drivers to successful growth of the Water / Wastewater market in the Gulf Southwest Region of the US.
  • Provides market sector leadership and lead the sales planning process for the market.
  • Leads business development teams to define capture strategies for key pursuits and major projects within regional market.
