Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with a leading top-tier flow measurement company. The organisation is one of the major equipment manufacturers in the world with a renowned global presence.

Due to succession planning, the organisation is seeking to recruit a Director of Sales – Eastern Hemisphere – Flow Measurement Systems to lead the sales, projects and business development activities for the Flow Measurement business across key global regions.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Eligible to work in Europe without visa sponsorship
  • The location of the role is flexible and can be based in any major European city with travel to a local office when required
  • Educated with an Engineering or Business related degree discipline
  • 15+ years Oil & Gas Industry experience within the Flow Measurement, Metering & Measurement Solutions & Custody Transfer applications
  • Experience across the Upstream, Midstream, Downstream & Process industry
  • Previous experience managing a global sales team and able to effectively manage a diverse sales team
  • Experience in developing bespoke sales, marketing, business development and project pursuit strategies in order to win new business
  • Experience in developing new markets and territories and putting in place sales and distributor channels in new markets.

 

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the entire sales function for the Eastern Hemisphere for the organisations Flow & Measurement business unit
  • Manage a diverse sales teams located in key geographical markets across Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific
  • Focus on developing project pursuit and business development strategies in order to provide full solutions to the customer
  • Work with Industry & Product Specialists located globally to develop better product placement and marketing strategies
  • Work with channel partners located globally in order to increase revenue and better serve customers
  • Travel regularly when required to support regional sales teams and manage personal sales targets
  • Reporting into VP Global Sales & VP/GM Measurement Products.

The Role:

Primarily tasked with driving sales growth within the allocated region (Ontario/Toronto)
Responsible for achieving revenue /profit margin targets. 1st year sales of $1M

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager – Fuel & Lubricant Additives, based in Houston, Texas. The role will be reporting directly to the Sales Director.

Our Client is seeking to appoint a Western US Sales Manager. The Western US Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the effort for all sales and related functions for Reverse Osmosis product lines in the Western States of America, with a strong emphasis in direct sales and through a multitiered channel partner network.

 

 

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Coordinates sales distribution by establishing quotas and other goals with representatives and distributors
  • Seeks out and researches prospective projects direct or through established or new sales channels and recommends the development of alternate sales channels.
  • Drives the process for major project pursuit developing sales strategies with inside sales support and the channel partner network. Assist with the negotiations of contracts for purchase w/ the legal staff (paralegals, etc.).
  • Conducts commercial and technical presentations.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key purchasing influencers and decision makers.

  • Bids the projects with the sales channels and provides the bidding strategy before the bid and works with the Business Unit to prepare the bid proposals.
  • Represent company and conduct business in an ethical and professional manner at all times.

 

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Strong technical and application knowledge of reverse osmosis products and working knowledge of other membrane filtration technologies required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong business development and sales experience in Industrial and Commercial markets (Resorts, Agriculture, Mining, Beverage packaging etc) in the western area of the US
  • Prior experience in Technical Sales with reverse osmosis systems required.
  • Familiar with principles and practices of pre-treatment for Reverse Osmosis, Polishing and ultrapure water chemistry, and water cycle in industrial applications (power, refining, mining) is desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated, with a driving desire for success.
  • Must have commercial acumen along with technical knowledge to understand the customer requirement and decision making criteria and effectively communicate the same to Proposals team to prepare and submit a winning technical solution.

The Regional Sales Manager – Membrane Filtration (MF), is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the effort for all sales (mainly industrial) and related functions for Reverse Osmosis Desalination product lines in the Americas, with a strong emphasis in Latin & South America direct and through a multitiered channel partner network.
