Mackenzie Stuart has forged a close partnership with a multinational manufacturer of automotive and industrial lubricants.

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager – Automotive & Industrial Lubricants, based in Germany. The role will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to build brand and support business growth across Europe
  • Manage relationships and co-operative marketing campaigns with strategic partners
  • Lead and inspire a small team to achieve and exceed collective business goals
  • Effectively communicate across internal functions including sales, operations, product and finance
  • Monitor market conditions, trends and emerging opportunities
  • Promote corporate image by positively representing company in the market

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be eligible to live and work in Germany
  • Must have excellent written and oral German and English
  • Must be Bachelor’s educated with a focus in Business Management or Marketing. Master’s is preferable
  • Must have minimum 5 years’ marketing management experience, preferably within the Lubricants industry

The expected salary for this role would be in the region of €80,000 – €120,000 plus additional benefits.

Requirements:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and tactical aspects of the project in accordance to company standards
  • Confront issues openly and quickly
  • Effectively communicate relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers
  • Build and keep up to date expert knowledge and convey knowledge to others
  • Work across practice and share lessons learned and best practices in PM Team
  • Complies with and enforces standard policies and procedures
  • Structuring of project task/work packages
  • Maintaining all HSEQ regulations
  • Maintaining the agreed project budget
  • Maintaining the agreed project schedule
  • Perform project team meetings, Steering committee meetings etc. on a regularly basis as well as gate-keeping, lessons learned

Requirements:

  • Educational requirements: University Degree (technical/natural/economical science)

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of project control mechanisms and systems (planning and scheduling, schedule risk analysis, progress & performance assessment, change management, variance analysis etc.) in the assigned projects.
  • Provide project controls management, including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance etc.
  • Participate and contribute to Cost & Schedule reviews and analyses at various decision points during project maturation.
  • Participation and (partial) leadership in bench marking networks with partners and colleagues as well as with bench marking companies
  • Ensuring that cost estimates for large projects up to the investment decision comply with all standards, tools and procedures, such as: allowances, contingency, escalation, cost risk analysis, inflation, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • University degree qualified – Engineering/ Economics/ Project Management
  • <10 years experience in relevant fields
  • Fluency in English
  • Familiar with Primavera (P6), SAP PS, MM, Cleopatra
  • Proficient with the use of standard office software such as MS Office. Experience with Primavera Risk Analysis tools is an advantage
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation of project procurement processes within assigned projects, for interface management within the clients project.
  • Responsible set up of Project Supply Plans and planning of the project procurement schedule for the projects assigned
  • Plausibility check for the following services to be provided by the engineering office:
    • Tenders
    • Specification/ release of short lists
    • Comparison of bids/ awarding recommendation
  • Preparation of an awarding proposition/ an awarding decision after agreement by the project leader and with head of CPP
  • Motivation, coordination and leadership of project procurement team
  • Regular project reporting to Head of CPP and Project Management of the assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of project procurement experience
  • Fluency in English – Romanian and German Advantageous
  • Knowledge of all relevant possibilities of IT application.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the economic basis for investment projects in Refining & Petrochemicals through economic assessment of the project initiatives submitted and frequent updates for the duration of the project, in particular at the predetermined phase transitions (gate reviews).
  • Bring expertise in process and project development to the early project phases (front end loading) to ensure a best in class performance over the project development cycle.
  • Development, agreement and execution of possible and necessary measures to ensure the continuous development of the refinery portfolio and further supervised contents with regard to the technology leadership and economic efficiency.

  • Ensuring a proper and timely implementation of the operational technical activities in the area of activity according to the defined tasks.
  • Ensuring functional operational controlling in terms of the tasks to be fulfilled by the division.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Advanced process engineering in refinery field
  • In-depth knowledge of project management and project budget administration
  • IT knowledge and specific software for investment projects
  • Knowledge regarding the calculation project and refinery economics

Requirements:

  • Technical University Degree
  • > 5 years experience
  • Experience handling refinery projects
