Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with a leading top-tier Valves & Controls equipment manufacturing company. The organisation is one of the major equipment manufacturers in the world with a renowned global presence.

Due to succession planning, the organisation is seeking to recruit a Regional Sales Director – EMEA – Valves – based in Northern Germany – to manage sales and channel partner development across the region.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Eligible to work in Europe without visa sponsorship. Located in Northern Germany or willing to relocate
  • Must have strong German & English language skills with strong written & oral communication
  • Educated to degree level in Engineering or Business related discipline
  • 10+ years’ Valve industry experience with proven sales management experience within the EMEA region
  • Technical knowledge of On/Off & Relief Valve products within the Energy & Process industries
  • Experience managing a diverse channel network of reps, distributors and joint-venture partners within the region
  • Experience developing and leading business development and commercial strategies specialised for the Valve industry.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the sales, distribution and channel network within the Europe, Middle East & Africa region
  • Bring a dynamic and fresh approach to the business development and commercial strategy for the Valve business unit
  • Work with senior leadership to develop short and long term strategies for growth across existing and emerging markets
  • Identify and pursue areas for the growth for the product portfolio with a view to expanding market share
  • Lead a team of regional sales managers located across the region providing leadership and support where needed
  • Act as a key point of contact for key customers and partners within the region
  • Reporting to Global Sales Director.

This is new position within the global sales team and is a key portion of the growth strategy of the business.

This a key position within the sales function and the candidate must match the exact requirements.

  • Preferably educated with a 4-year degree discipline within Engineering

  • Create product and sales strategies for the product line to position the company for strategic growth

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage portfolio of key accounts whilst providing new opportunities for business development in line with objectives
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Establish and maintain account development plans in line with account strategies
  • Work alongside internal departments to ensure that customer technical, cost and supply requirements are achieved

Our client is recruiting for an Engineer/Senior Engineer – Radio/RF Testing – based in the UK and responsible for performing testing on radio and radio frequency equipment.

This role will report directly to the Operations Leader and will have a role in dealing with clients as well as performing testing on equipment.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Performing Testing on Radio and Radio Frequency equipment and providing detailed reports and feedback to customers to ensure they understand the reasons behind the final decision made.
  • Working directly with clients to ensure they are happy and want to give repeat business to the organisation.
  • Manage multiple projects at one time with minimum mistakes, ensuring that the correct decisions are made and detailed explanations are given.

Preferred requirements:

  • Based in the UK, with the ability to be on site every day.
  • Ability to work under pressure, beat deadlines, work within a team and over achieve set targets.
  • Motivated, Goal Driven, with a detailed technical knowledge of the products being tested.
  • 5 years’ experience with a testing background, who has the ability to be customer facing and provide good levels of customer satisfaction.
