We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Branch Manager to join a European Surface transportation provider.
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for various essential tasks related to full truckload shipments throughout Europe. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently planning, handling, and monitoring full truckload shipments across Europe.
- Managing and nurturing strong relationships with clients and hauliers.
- Acquiring, registering, and processing transport orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handling transport and shipping documents efficiently.
- Utilizing freight exchanges to optimize forwarding business operations.
- Conducting effective contract negotiations with carriers.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in the international freight forwarding and logistics sector, with expertise in Full Truck Load operations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
- Exceptional flexibility and proficiency in negotiation.
- Independent and result-oriented working style, with a focus on achieving targets.
- A keen affinity for numbers and cost awareness to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Proficiency in using common EDP programs for efficient data management.
- Good command of the English language, while proficiency in other foreign languages would be advantageous.
The expected salary for this position is between £60,000-£75,000 per annum.
