Business Development Manager, California – Single-Use Fluid Control

Mackenzie Stuart are partnered with a highly innovative US based Single-Use Fluid
Control Technology manufacturer that specialize in fluid delivery
components & engineered systems. We are currently seeking a talented and
ambitious Business Development Manager to join their US Commercial Management
team to be located on the Western part of the US, leading efforts to expand sales
and generate awareness of their innovative Single Use fluid delivery products
focused on the Life Sciences and Biopharmaceutical manufacturing markets. you will
use your extensive network and market knowledge to identify and nurture new end-users & distribution channels while maintaining and expanding existing business
relationships with key customers.

Working Location:
Ideal location working remotely from California (Los Angeles, San Diego OR San
Francisco)


Essential Responsibilities:
• Collaboration closely with Regional Sales Managers to support existing
accounts through joint calls and product training
• Develop new end-user accounts and appropriate distribution channels,
expanding market share
• Obtain and communicate customer specifications and requirements, to
help ensure that all departments satisfy customer needs, and oversee the
production of high-quality products that meet customer expectations
Requirements:
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a
proactive, critical thinker with strong analytical skills
• The selected candidate will be results-driven, with excellent attention to
detail and the ability to multitask effectively
• Deep technical understanding of the Quality requirements for polymeric
components commonly used in single-use production environments, stay
abreast of industry developments, compliance, and certifications
• Help create a positive, collaborative working environment that embodies
the organizations core values of Integrity, Trust, Creativity and Courage,
Teamwork, and Excellence
• Champion safety, company culture, and ethics and attend national and
regional tradeshows as necessary
• Expect to travel up to 50%


Experience and qualifications:
• Must obtain a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and show +1-2
years of experience in the single-use or biopharmaceutical/bioprocessing
fluid management market or related industry
• 2+ or more years of experience in outside sales with a demonstrated
track record of growing sales with both new and established customers
• Ideal candidate will have knowledge and relevant experience working
with single use fluid management technology industry i.e. Single-Use
Tubing or Hose Systems, Valves, Sensors, Pumps, Sanitary Fittings or
relatable fluid components
• Perform the physical demands of the job, including safely navigating a
manufacturing environment, extended periods of sitting, and business
travel
• The chosen candidate must be highly motivated, self-starting individual
with a passion for business development and a desire to work with a
dynamic and innovative team


Compensation:
• Competitive compensation, health & life insurance, dental and fringe
benefits
• Total compensation: up to $120-$130 +/ 10% fixed USD (dependent on
experience) + competitive bonus approximately +20-40% dependent on
performance and un-capped structure
• Pre-succession planning for Regional Management or Global Market
