Business Development Manager – Discovery – DACH Region

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a leader in the Contract Research Organisation space, offering innovative premium Drug Discovery & Development solutions to the Life Sciences space, from emerging Biotechnology to large Pharmaceutical organisations.

They are searching for an ambitious and performance-driven Business Development Manager to promote their Drug Discovery services within the DACH region (candidates do not have to be based in DACH).

The Role:

  • Meeting with prospective sponsors and customers, taking part in presentations & contract negotiation/due diligence
  • Developing an operational strategy to meet and surpass revenue & growth targets in the Drug Discovery branch
  • Business performance analysis – implementing commercial strategies to ensure achieving & exceeding performance goals
  • Identifying trends in the Drug Discovery space across the DACH region & optimising all chances to bring in new business
  • Key account contact responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of Life Sciences experience, CRO experience preferred
  • BA/BSc in a Scientific or Life Sciences subject essential
  • Strong understanding of Drug Discovery & Integrated Drug Discovery
  • Strong English skills – other languages as a bonus
