Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven European Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and establishing strong business relationships with key stakeholders across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and market penetration within the pharmaceutical and medical industries.
- Identify and target prospective clients, including pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and contract packaging organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders at target accounts.
- Understand client needs, challenges, and market trends to tailor packaging solutions that address their specific requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful implementation of customer projects.
- Monitor industry developments, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the packaging industry, with a focus on pharmaceutical or medical markets.
- Deep understanding of blister packaging technologies, processes, and regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical and medical industries.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic sales plans.
- Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.
