Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnerships with top companies in the Warehouse Automation and Intralogistics sector. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the process of the sales cycle.
- Be responsible for identifying new lines of business within Illinois, through meetings and networking.
- Create development plans and forecast sales targets.
- Regular meetings with existing clients to build stronger relationships, by having the knowledge and understanding to speak about operations openly and effectively.
- Manage day-to-day responsibilities effectively. This can consist of maintaining high levels of customer service, managing accounts through planning and growth projections.
- Developing and sustaining long-term customer relationships.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, solutions, execution, manufacturing, and colleagues to provide the best outcome for the client.
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline e.g., mechanical, and industrial
- 5+ years of experience in material handling.
- Ability to travel when needed.
- Good time management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Be able to explicate top knowledge and expertise in warehouse automation and intralogistics.
- Ability to work with people regardless of race, gender, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability etc.
- Been previously involved in a BDM role for 3+ years.
The expected salary for this role would be $90K – $100K, with other performance benefits given (bonus).
