Director of Quality – Dietary Supplements

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a well-established, fast-growing nutraceutical contract manufacturer known for producing high-quality dietary supplements including soft gels, gummies, powders, tablets and capsules. We are looking for a Director of Quality to join their expanding team. This is an on-site role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the Quality department including QA, QC, QC Laboratory and Regulatory Affairs.
• Responsible for ensuring Quality best practice in all aspects of Quality functions.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Production and Facilities to ensure all products meet strict quality standards throughout the entire supply chain, and for ensuring compliance with certifying bodies/regulatory agency regulations and interpretations.
• Ensure facility is properly permitted/licensed/certified regarding regulatory/3rd party agencies
• Interface with supplier, customer quality representatives, and regulatory agencies -as required.
• Responsible for hosting all regulatory and customer inspections.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in engineering, life sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years in a Quality leadership role
• Minimum 5+ years in Dietary Supplement, Food & Beverage, Personal Care Contract Manufacturing (or related industries)
