Global Sales Manager – US-India Trade Lane

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a Global Freight Forwarder seeking a Global Sales Manager – India Trade Lane within the Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding market.

The Global Sales Manager – India Trade acts as the main developer of the trade route & market across US/India, indirectly leading a team of Global & Regional KAMs.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for securing & managing new logo business across Air, Ocean, Warehousing & 3PL markets
• Developing India trade-lane & coordinating sales strategy with India & Global commercial teams
• Developing strong C-Level relationships across multiple verticals, including Lifesciences, Electronics & more
• Negotiates prices and conditions based on the type of service offering
• Assigned quarterly and annual Revenue/Operating Profit targets to include overall territory target and individual account targets
• Building customer rapport through regular visits/calls.
• Conduct strategic sales initiatives within assigned Trade Lane.

Candidate Requirements:

• 8/10+ years Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding experience
• Bachelor’s degree necessary, or equivalent
• Strong Know-how of Indian trade-lane & market
• Based out of Chicago-land area
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced high intensity environment
