Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a Global 3PL on the search for a Head of Sales to lead their sales organisation in Canada. The company is a third-party logistics provider, specialising in End-to-End solutions, including Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding, Domestic Brokerage, Warehousing & Value-added services.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth in the International Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding customer base and market presence.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and market insights to the executive team.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to drive strategic decision-making.
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years experience within the International Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding industry
- Proven experience & track record in sales management
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market share.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for market trends and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

The expected salary for this role would be CAD $200K – $250K, with other performance related benefits available including bonus and equity.
