About the role
Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with two leading adhesives manufacturer company on the search for a Key Account Manager – Automotive and Key Account Manager – Construction to support the growth of the two companies.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of the clients customers. You will focus on growing and developing existing clients, as well as generating new business by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies.
Responsibilities
- Strengthening and advancing relationships with key accounts by increasing sales, improving profit margins, expanding product offerings, and streamlining operational processes.
- Actively seeking business development opportunities to broaden the customer base.
- Creating and executing sales promotion strategies and content with the aim of driving business growth
- Collaborating closely with laboratory management, sales leadership, and marketing teams to foster product innovation
- Projecting and anticipating sales figures while closely monitoring performance metrics
- Assessing customers based on growth potential, sales performance, and profitability
- Analysing market competition and formulating strategies to ensure competitiveness
- Providing guidance to customers on materials and their application in product development and final production, collaborating with application engineers and laboratory staff as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in adhesives, preferably in the automotive or construction markets
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is ideal, technical degrees/experience a plus
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated experience in sales and business development
- Fluency in both English and German
- Mobility and willingness to travel internationally.
- Leadership skills with an ability to collaborate effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
