Job Title: Key Account Manager (KAM) – Automation Systems in North America

Reports to: Director of Sales, Americas

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our team in North America. As a KAM, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and be responsible for developing and expanding packaging solutions for both new and existing customers. The KAM will manage and grow key accounts in the automation systems industry, requiring a proven track record of managing large accounts and an excellent understanding of automation systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement proactive selling techniques to increase sales and maximize profits, while maintaining professional relationships with customers and communicating solutions effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the automation systems industry.
  • Develop account strategies to meet the business needs of key accounts, exceed sales targets and achieve business goals.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Offer complete solutions to customers, including new machinery, spare parts, modernization, service, and training.
  • Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and develop strategies to capture those opportunities.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities for the company.
  • Prepare and present reports on the performance of assigned accounts to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automation systems industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and develop solutions for business needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems and industry trends.
