Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of a globally leading pharmaceutical ingredients distributor, boasting a $2.5bn+ turnover covering over 70 countries. The company handles and distributes a wide range of API and Excipient solutions, and they are currently looking for a Key Account Manager, based in the US.
Responsibilities
- Meeting annually sales goals for key accounts, through achieving a high volume of territory coverage
- Maintaining client relationships to a high standard, proactively aiming to overdeliver and provide a great service to the accounts.
- Attending relevant local and regional meetings to both maintain relationships and target new, potential business for the firm.
- Continued success in negotiating and closing deals
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Key Account Manager position
- At least 5 years’ experience working within the API and/or Excipient sector
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Proven track record of Account management success
- Have the ability to network and maintain long-lasting relationships
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written verbal English
- Must have a clean and full driver’s licence
