Operations and Production Manager – Adhesives | Industrial

Job Overview:

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a leading coatings manufacturer company on the search for a Operations Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and driving business growth across the industrial market

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage production planning, ensuring optimal efficiency and resource utilization.
• Identify areas of improvement within the operations and production processes and implement necessary changes.
• Lead and manage the operations and production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliverables to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Play a key role in driving business growth strategies and delivery across diverse markets.

Key Attributes:

• Proven experience in an Operations/Production Manager role, demonstrating effective leadership and strategic management skills.
• Desirable experience applying lean and six sigma principles to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of chemicals industry, with the ability to apply industry-specific knowledge to enhance processes.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational excellence.
• Previous experience in implementing and monitoring KPIs to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the chemicals industry.
• Knowledge and application of lean and six sigma principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dutch and English language skills at a professional level.
