Mackenzie Stuart is currently looking for an Operations Manager for a multi-site territory in Georgia. This is with a leading Construction Materials company with international reach & great opportunities to progress.
Responsibilities of the role include, but may not be limited to:
- Oversight of 6 small plants producing circa 175k cubic yards of Ready Mix Concrete
- Work with maintenance & engineering to ensure reliability of facilities
- Manage & set standards to subordinate colleagues, including keeping on track of KPI & targets
- Maintain required operating costs in alignment with company margin targets
- Drive safety culture & ensure correct processes are followed
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- 3+ years management experience in a plant manufacturing products for industry (chemicals, metals, heavy construction materials)
- Have a record of operations improvements with statistics to back up the improvements
- Willing to be hands on at the plants, they are smaller teams so it may occasionally be required
- You will be required to pass a drugs test & background check
