Mackenzie Stuart is currently looking for an Operations Manager for the Tampa area, for a leading regional Ready Mix Concrete supplier in Florida. For the right candidate, this position would have the progression pathway to General Management
Responsibilities of the role include, but may not be limited to:
- Full operations management responsibility for 9 facilities producing circa 850,000 cubic yards of Ready Mix per year
- Experienced at process implementation & aligning acquired companies to parent organizations
- Liaise with area & plant managers to ensure good implementation of operations strategy
- Maintain a good safety record & develop/ensure good maintenance practices
- This position will report into the VP/GM for the region
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years operations management experience with varying degrees of responsibility
- 5+ years experience in the manufacture & supply of Ready Mix Concrete
- 8-10 direct reports, including area & plant managers
- Multi-site plant management experience is necessary
- Must be a hands-on manager & be willing to have conversations & work with staff at every level of the organization
