Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with an international solutions and infrastructure advisor. The company is a leading specialist in planning and designing construction projects.
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager hybrid role, based in Southern California.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and develop project budgets, fees and schedules
- Manage and responsible for health and safety on site
- Evaluates and leads design for rail, transit or civil engineering projects, including safety improvements, 3D modelling and grade crossing
- Manage client relations with a solution-based mindset
- Develop, monitor and track weekly reports
- Effective in team leadership, including mentoring junior designers
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Master’s degree in transportation or a closely related discipline (preferred)
- 10+ years of transport management experience or engineering consulting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in CA
- Experience leading small and large-scale rail and transit projects
- Experience in rail safety
- Ability to use Microstation, Inrail, Civil30, AutoCAD and open rail
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel
