Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a major firm in the Process Instrumentation space. We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Regional Product Manager based or willing to relocate to the US (Houston, TX).
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for meeting the sales quota in their designated territory. They will provide support to sales channels across various industries, key vertical markets, EPCs, system integrators, and OEMs within the territory. The primary objective is to formulate and execute sales strategies and tactics to enhance the market position of their products in the region.
Your primary duties will include:
- Strategize and implement sales plans to strengthen the market position of their products within the region.
- Tailor product strategies to cater to specific industries within the region, capitalising on local industrial trends and strengths.
- Collaborate with and continually assess sales channels in your assigned territory and industry to align with the company’s strategies and objectives.
- Analyse competitive landscape and market data to establish a regional positioning strategy encompassing volume, pricing, product features, channel development, and delivery.
- Develop sales tools, promotional materials, and execute product launch initiatives.
- Present at trade seminars, customer sites, and as directed by management.
- Implement and conduct training programs for sales channels within the region, covering processes, procedures, products, and applications.
- Effectively manage customer relationships using sales and marketing software.
- Expect to travel approximately 40% of the time within your assigned region.
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and minimum of 8 years of related experience preferably with a technically oriented manufacturer serving the Industrial marketplace.
- Must possess demonstrable experience managing product management responsibilities through the adoption of a regional team-oriented strategy; specifically in flow, level, and temperature technology.
- Proven computer proficiency and effective written and verbal communication skills, along with experience in delivering business sales presentations to groups of varying sizes and technical expertise levels.
