Mackenzie Stuart is supporting an established engineered global fluid control manufacturer who are actively seeking a mechanical sales engineer for their engineered portfolio focused on supporting their critical service Oil & Gas accounts across California.

Job Objectives:
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients, while meeting or exceeding sales/revenue targets to increase business growth
- Identify and develop a pipeline of prospective customers within the industry, utilizing current market research to uncover value drivers and communicate accurate and timely updates to management
- Prepare and execute sales and marketing events, campaigns, and strategies to increase business growth and sales
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external resources to deliver high-performance sales and business development
- Implement Business Growth and Selling Solutions across segment customers, while prioritizing account plans to position the organization to surpass profitability and growth targets
- Retain and develop new OEM networks within the bay area, maintain frequent contact with distribution partners, and manage quarterly growth incentive plans to exceed common regional objectives
- Maintain accurate and relevant account information and contact data through the use of data software
- Adapt core product line knowledge to implement business development fundamentals and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
Candidate Profile:
- Must possess Mechanical, Electrical OR Industrial Engineering Bachelor’s
- Ideal candidate must have experience or strong Fluid Control Automation Component related knowledge or experience i.e. valves, fluid sensors, components, pumps, fittings, measurement instrumentation or pressure control
- Severe and Critical service Oil & Gas market experience or knowledge of either applications across the sector is desirable i.e. Refineries, Drilling, Chemical Processing, LNG or Pipeline Transportation
- Solid background and achievement in managing cross-channels across end-users, OEM’s or EPC’s is strongly desirable
- Have a strong work ethic, tenacity, autonomous mentality, and the ability to approach territory management with tenacity and efficiency
- Be proficient in computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and be willing to travel extensively across Northern & Southern parts of California
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key-decision makers at current and prospective clients and future customers
- Have at least three years of experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles, with a track record of supporting sales cycles and technical troubleshooting
Compensation and job prospects:
- Compensation approximately $130k-$140k base salary + 25% bonus OTE (dependent on candidate experience) + sales / travel support package
