Mackenzie Stuart is working with an established manufacturer of fluid control solutions, who is seeking a Regional Mechanical Sales Engineer to support their portfolio of engineered products for critical applications in the Food & Beverage OEM industry throughout California

Job Objectives:
- Develop and cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients, while achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets to drive business growth
- Identify and nurture a pipeline of potential customers within the industry, leveraging market research to uncover value drivers and providing accurate and timely updates to management
- Create and execute sales and marketing events, campaigns, and strategies to increase sales and business growth
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive high-performance sales and business development
- Implement Business Growth and Selling Solutions with customer segments, prioritizing account plans to position the organization for profitability and growth
- Expand and develop new OEM networks across California, maintaining regular contact with distribution partners, and managing quarterly growth incentive plans to exceed common regional objectives
- Maintain accurate and relevant account information and contact data using data software
- Apply product line knowledge to implement business development fundamentals and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Ideal candidate has experience or strong knowledge of Fluid Control Automation Components, such as valves, fluid sensors, components, pumps, fittings, measurement instrumentation, or pressure control, within the Food & Beverage OEM industry
- Knowledge or experience in Hygienic service applications in the Food & Beverage OEM industry, such as automation, processing, packaging, and sterilization, is desirable
- Proven success in managing cross-channels across end-users, OEMs or engineering firms is strongly desirable
- Possess a strong work ethic, tenacity, an autonomous mentality, and the ability to approach territory management with tenacity and efficiency
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and willing to travel extensively throughout Northern & Southern California
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at current and prospective clients and future customers
- At least three years of experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles, with a track record of supporting sales cycles and technical troubleshooting
Compensation and Job Prospects: The salary is approximately $130k-$140k base salary + 25% bonus OTE (dependent on candidate experience) + sales/travel support package, with opportunities for pre-succession Global Key Account Management career pathways
