Job Summary:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the market presence in the Texas region. Your primary focus will be on driving sales, developing and managing a high-performing sales team, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the kitchen and bath industry and a passion for achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and market share growth in the Texas region. This includes setting sales targets, market analysis, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets. Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team culture.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure excellent customer service and address their needs promptly.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s kitchen and bath product offerings. Provide expertise and guidance to both the sales team and customers.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation for senior management.
- Budget Management: Responsible for managing the regional sales budget, including expense control and resource allocation.
- Travel: Frequent travel within the Texas region and occasional travel to industry events and company headquarters may be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a sales manager in the building materials or related industry, with a focus on kitchen and bath products.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
