Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for efficient freight and carrier network management in Germany.
- Optimize transportation network for timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating contracts, rates, and service level agreements.
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor carrier performance and drive process optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize operational efficiency.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain management experience.
- Proven track record in optimizing transportation networks, preferably in Germany.
- Extensive experience in negotiating contracts, rates, and service level agreements.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in Full Truckload (FTL), Less than Truckload (LTL), and road freight operations.
- In-depth knowledge of FTL, LTL, and road freight regulations, processes, and best practices.
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
The expected salary for this position is between €120,000-€150,000 per annum.
