Sales Manager – Surface Pre-treatment – Germany

About the role

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a regional surface specialists’ company on the search for a Sales Manager – Surface Pre-treatment to support the company’s growth and new business unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member of the commercial team, aligning with business needs and driving process improvements
  • Handle budgeting, strategic planning, and competitive reporting for assigned accounts
  • Follow up on leads and referrals and identify sales prospects through methods like cold calling trade shows
  • Create commercial proposals and deliver product offerings and contracts to current and potential customers
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio
  • Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to troubleshoot issues and fulfil their needs.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback gathered through field activity.
  • Foster and sustain strong connections with customers, distributors, and industry partners

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and education.
  • Minimum five years of experience in Surface Treatment products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective negotiation abilities
  • Adaptability and hands-on mentality
  • Drive, focus, and determination
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English and German.
